It's hard to get excited by a fridge. But the glass front of the Hitachi, with the touchscreen, and brilliant internal architecture makes it a standout bargain among fridges up to twice the price, IMO. It looks and feels like a high-end, high-tech, high-quality, enthusiast product. But it is priced at the low end of the market. I read some reviews saying that the compressor is noisy; but it is as quiet as any other fridge I've ever used. It is outstanding value. Highly recommended.

Good product and value for money

I started hearing fan noise and cracking when the dual fan is on after 8 days of using it

The refrigerator produces a loud sound. The motor is too noisy including the fan. Now and then the fan kicks in and procedures a loud rotating sound; it seems a plane is taking off, especially early morning and late at night when it is quiet, you can hear the noise, and it's very annoying. I like the aesthetic, design, and color but the noise is too much. The brand Hitachi has a good reputation; however, this product translates into a quality issue that needs to address. I hope Hitachi resolves it very soon. I return the unit because of the loud noise issue.

Came with issue that bottle door is not properly aligned so motor won't work, have to do workaround

I would 100% recommend this Hitachi refrigerator it's Black all Glass beautiful finish with lots of Fridge & Freezer space.And the main thing I would like to mention there is no Compressor sound at all it's extremely quiet.

Great features and honestly I can’t fault it. Not noisy at all.

I asked for the door to be inverted before delivery which hasn't happened so now I need to pay additional fee to do it on my own.
