great earplugs
April 2014- It seems like the manufacturer supplies these earplugs in white now. My comments on the red/hot orange color go back to 2010 when the picture was shown as white while the real color was hot orange. I would just recommend checking with the supplier on the exact color, if you are worried about it. 2010- These earplugs are red. They are pretty large which makes them cover the "top" of any ear entrance. When purchased individually, they are white but their cost is significantly higher than in bulk like here. For me they are the most efficient earplugs for a noise reduced night, and they stay on the surface compared to all other "tube" shaped earplugs that you need to insert in the ear canal. Their side effect is common to all other earplugs, which is increase of ear wax that has to be dissolved once in a while. But considering its benefits, it is worth the use.
