Q: Can the little balls be stuck very close together on the stick pieces (as in, two or three or more balls all touching each other)?

Hi there, Thank you for your question! The balls are designed to attach to the end of the sticks one at a time. However, there are many ways to attach the sticks. The blue balls have 6 holes which run around the ball and 1 hole on the top and 1 hole on the bottom while the green balls have 8 holes around the ball and 1 hole on the top and bottom. Good but hard for a 5year old

The pieces are strong and I liked the packaging.However, my 5 year old son gets frustrated building with it because the pieces are too hard to fit into each other.Every for an adult, the pieces are annoying to fit with the others.
