Can I cut one banana plug end to use bare wire with standard "clamp" terminal on stereo, even though the speakers I have are binding post connector?

That is very similar to what I did. Since I needed 6 pairs of cables, I ordered three that were twice as long and cut them in half and used the bare ends after stripping to go to connections on my receiver. The banana plugs on the other end went to the plate on the wall that was the connection to the built-in wall/ceiling speakers. Good Luck.

It is a 6 ft cable with a pair of connectors at each end to connect to the 5 way binding posts on the speaker and on the amp. This cable will connect one speaker to an amp or receiver

Can I use these speaker wires which are 12 gauge from a wall plate to my receiver if my in wall wire is 14 guage?

He's asking if it's OK to run 120 volts from his wall plate to his receiver and if it's not UL approved I wouldn't use it!

These are sold as a 2-pack for around the same price on Sewell's own website. Are there two cables (2 sets of red/black) for two speakers?

At the Sewell site the THREE FOOT cables are are a 2-pack for $20.95. The Amazon price would seem to indicate the 3 foot would be a two pack also. Unfortunately the Amazon description doesn't say that specifically. You may get two but who knows. Best to buy from Sewell Direct as you know what you're getting.
