Works well and shipped to PR
I bought this for my Step dad who lives in Puerto Rico. I was happy to see that this seller correctly recognized Puerto Rico as part of the US and not a foreign country allowing to ship this to him. My step dad has a makeshift outdoor entry elevator to get to the second floor living area as most of the homes in PR are built on high off the ground floor. He runs the elevator using a aircompressor motor. After 16 years, his motor died on him. This motor was a perfect replacement. He looked all over the island and couldn't find it. Happy to find it at a good price and free prime shipping to PR. Thank you.

A solid, 2HP electric motor.
Used this for a DIY air compressor setup with a 2HP pump from harbor freight. It works great, be noted 2HP is going to pull 15A minimum, make sure your breaker can handle that if running 110V

Stopped working after FIVE weeks.
I purchased the motor, installed it, and used it three or four times. Five weeks after I installed it, It simply stopped working. It won’t even turn. The motor was replacing one that lasted 15 years. They refused to return it. You get what you pay for I suppose.

2 x 72 Belt Grinder Beast
I purchased this motor to go with my Diktator Max 2 x 72 belt grinder kit. Saved me a few hundred dollars installing and wiring the motor myself. Couldn't have been easier. Really excellent quality and super quiet. Very happy with my purchase.

Motor Matches
It was good to find a perfect replacement motor for a 30 year old air compressor. I didn't have to make any modifications for installation. The motor makes the air compressor work like new.

Matched my Husky 7hp 89 gal compressor
Direct bolt in for my Husky 7hp home compressor. U ordered the correct sized shaft motor to match my pulley and keyway. Took maybe an hour to removed the old one and bolt up and wire the new one. Amazingly easy.

overheats and trips the onboard breaker
very disappointed , overheats if it has to run more than 5 minutes, i even rewired the garage with a 60amp breaker and 6 awg thhn wire to be sure there is sufficient amperage and now im stuck with it because outside the return windowoperating a v twin 5 hp air compressor pump from harbor freight on a 60 gallon tank

Good as long as you seal it..
Motor works as advertised, but the totally enclosed part is not quite totally. The wire connections box on the motor are sealed with rubber gaskets. These do not seal 100% and I had to silicone spots as there are vents to the armature in the box.
