RPN Students
Im a year 1 RPN student and I bought this book about two months ago, however, only recently begin to read it and I must say this book covers EVERYTHING I have ever learnt in my first year of nursing school including psychology/physiology/theory courses/ pharm... etc (except for ANAT). I would DEFO recommend this book because it literally explains everything and gives you a lot of interesting info which Im sure you could use to your advantage to impress your teachers ;) I dont think semester 1 students would need this book that much, however, once you complete semester 1 make sure you get your copy. I have a year more to go and I am happy I bought this book at this point within my course work because it has a million questions which I can enjoy going over during my summer!

By far the BEST NCLEX prep book around!!
I graduated my LPN program at the end of May, and was required to take the NCLEX by June 20th in order to continue into the RN program. My school used Kaplan all throughout the year and a lot more towards the end of the year for practice material, and I HATED it. I wasn't doing well on any of the practice exams and I started to panic about passing. I looked at many different exam prep books but Saunders Comprehensive Reveiw for the NCLEX-PN exam had the best reviews so I bought it. I read through most of it and did the practice questions and I ended up passing the NCLEX after the minimum 85 questions on my first try. I reccomend this book to all of my classmates and to any future nurses that have asked how I prepped & passed. I absolutely love that it is in a textbook format so you get refreshed on all of the material, and I love that the questions have amazing rationales so that when you do get an answer wrong, you know exactly why, and it helps you to remember the right answer in the future. Honestly, this is by far the best prep material I've ever used & many of my classmates agree. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!! It's definitely worth the buy.

I passed using only this book
This is the only book that i bought to study for my NCLEX-PN exam. This book is full of information that you'll need to take the test. I like that it has a test bank that you can access to practice and to see if you know enough before taking the exam. I didn't use the test bank until I've finished reading the whole book because I wanted to gauge on how much I retained from reading the book. I can't compare any other test bank cause as i've said, this is the only book that i used to study for my exam and i felt that it did provide me with the knowledge to answer my test correctly. If there's a bad thing about this book is that it's very overwhelming, so make sure that you'll take your time studying this book and make sure that you set a time each day to study.

GET THIS BOOK
I took my NCLEX at the beginning of March 2015 and I passed with on 95 questions (pretty good). I bought 3 other books before this but this book was by far the most helpful and I wish I wouldn't of wasted my money on any the other books. The online question bank was extremely useful because the questions were just like the NCLEX test questions. The questions are grouped in categories by subjects or you can mix them and do random questions. I recommend that you buy this book while your in school and study the questions but definitely buy this book at least 6 weeks before your test because you take a pretest and it develops a study plan for you for 6 weeks. I was totally prepared taking the NCLEX after using this book and using the online question bank.
