Thinnest, lightest and functional
I have and been looking for an inside the waist band holster since I started carrying. Tried this one, that one and some are alright. But all shared a common thing, Thickness, double sided and being not a huge guy I am looking for thinnest, less noticeable without having to wear an oversized shirt to hide the fact. Watched some video and read some reviews on this one, looked fine and didn't break the bank. It is the thinnest form fitting holster I have, only one I use now. It is made well and seems like it will hold up for some time. I really like it. Can be left or right sided by moving the trigger guard, that half moon looking piece in the picture. When I first saw it I thought is that vertical stub really going to hold the gun securely, well yes absolutely. I have 2 one for the G23 and one for the G26. Now the down side if you want to call it that, the 9mm fit perfect, snug but easy to pull out but with the 40, I had to sand or shave just a tiny bit off so the barrel would move easier, it was a bit to tight Another thing is some of the pistol, Grip part, will be touching your skin, unless you are wearing a t shirt, But I like the thinnest over a minute of "damn that's cold". And lastly, once you pull the weapon, you will need to remove the holster to reinsert it, which is not an issue. This is not the wild west, if you have to pull it, it is going to be out for a while. The clip part which goes over your belt is designed aggressively and is very secure but also easy to remove, sounds kind of strange i know but once you see it, you will know what i mean. Bottom line with this is the same with all holsters, as well as pistols, some are going to like it, others it's just not for them. There are compromises with this holster but I have no issue dealing with all of them to get the benefits of having such a thin light weight holster. I wear mine cross draw in the 10 o clock position and even with a fairly tight shirt, you dont know its there, which is the point...correct?

Great minimal holster!
Wasn't sure but now my favorite IWB! The Versacarry came quickly. I ordered this after talking with a friend who has one and I was a little leery but the price point is so good that I took a chance. This my first minimal holster. As reference I several molded kydex IWBs, an Alien Holsters IWB, and a Bravo Concealment OTW. This has become my go to for my M&P Shield! It was way more comfortable that I thought it would be!I've been using my Bravo Con OTW secondary to comfort recently and tried stay with blowsier shirts but with this holster I can carry very comfortably with a t shirt and shorts. I appendix carry and have even worn lighter colored t shirts with very little imprinting and that only if you are looking really. I try not to look like the guy who is carrying as much as possible! The biggest thing I can say is this holster is way more comfortable than it looks it would be! I for see some cleaning of the weapon secondary to being next to skin a great deal however I haven't had any issue or discomfort with it as yet and don't expect any. Honestly the best thing is the ability to carry comfortably IWB and wear a t shirt. My GF also carries a Shield in 9mm and I've already ordered one for her.I will say there is a little break in period but you can expedite that by placing and removing the weapon some to work the plastic. Retention is actually very good. The only drawback and it's a very minor one is re-holstering your side arm. You'll need to remove the clip or feel the replacing with your fingers if that makes sense. Easier to remove the clip. Theoretically though if you're re-holstering, you've already taken care of business as it were, unless you're training draw strokes at the range. You get the jist. On that note, draw is easy as well. Though it will take a little getting used to if you've been a kydex wearer. Its a great holster at a great price basically! Walt

Love it!
I've tried several iwb holsters for my g27 and never was happy. Glocks are bulky and just not as comfortable to carry in the waistband as a single stack pistol. I tried the clipdraw and what I found with it was it didnt seem to feel as secure as this on the belt. I was constantly worried it would ride up and come loose so I was always trying to adjust it while walking around a store. Not ideal! This design is in my opinion way better. Mainly because the way it clips on to the belt. Designed for a 1.5" belt which is what I prefer. It fits perfectly and secure to the belt. The way its designed wont allow it to work its way up and possibly come off. It doesnt require anything to be attached to the pistol itself so if I want to switch to a different holster that day its a quick option. Extremely simple and doesnt add hardly any bulk to the rig. Very happy with this thing!

To me it's just OK.
I hate reviewing holsters out of personal preference, but here goes. If this product works for you, that is awesome, more power to you. For me, even though I knew that my safety was on and I was following all firearms safety procedures, there was something unnerving about having my gun 90% exposed, outside of a holster. Also, I have to believe that the finish rubbing on your skin is not great for long term carry of the gun, since the acids and oils on your skin will be in constant direct contact with the gun. It's also not super comfortable to have metal jabbing you in the side. One other note, this does not work with all guns. Unless you have a flat slide side (think glock), this will not sit properly. A couple of my guns would not even fit right with this because different levers and bumps in the slide design does not let the slide rest along the holster.I wouldn't say that this is a horrible holster, the retention is good, and it's a unique idea, but I would feel alot better with a thin kydex IWB that covers my trigger.
