Disappointed
I am a HUGE fn of Victoria Boutenko but this book was v disappointing - the first 36 pages are a preface, short intro from the three authors about their personal stance and experience of being/ becoming raw and little on omega 3 nutrition. The remaining 145 pages are page after page of simple recipes without pictures. I really enjoyed Victorias book on Green For Life which was so inspiring and filled with useful information and personal experience and research but this is neither one of those or a proper recipe book in my view. I was expecting a really good thorough look at omega 3 and affects on the body but sadly did not get it here. Still a fan of Victorias she is an inspiration and fully recommend her other books.

Raw vegans do a little cooking, with yummy results!
Raw fooders who have moved away from their warm sunny climates and gone to colder regions re-assess their food intake to support their different needs. Also reflects recent research into the need for Omega 3 fatty acids and where to find them in non-animal foods. Really helpful for those of us who cannot get organic tropical fruit and baby coconuts but find raw and cooked vegan and wild food a huge help to staying well.Several authors have contributed their ideas and recipes, which gives a good variety to choose from. I loved the Lentil and Vegetable soup, and carnivorous guests have emptied the soup pot on several occasions, so I make double quantities now!
