MicroBacter Clean

This stuff works great! Had a problem with diatoms and hair algae. Thought about chemically treating my tank to fix it but ran across this stuff. After about a 2 weeks diatoms population diminished dramatically. After a month they are completely gone. Hair algae still persists but has not grown out of control. Also like other reviews state, my protein skimmer is working way more efficiently now. It has been about 3 weeks since I used the last part of the bottle and my tank has maintained stability. Highly recommend this product for getting past the ugly phase or naturally cleaning your tank.

After a decade reefing, "nothing good happens fast" is pretty much the proven, golden rule. Yet after 3 doses (5ml per gal, once per week) this wiped out all the turf algae like a switch. I was stunned. Stuff that grew everywhere - sand, shade, rocks, coral - just disappeared. *Note that I did resolve the major detritus issues first*, but within 3 days of blowing the rocks off, they would still be covered in sheet-like green algae. On the 3rd weekly water change, I dosed as usual and the algae just vanished. Clean as much as you can, follow the instructions and stay the course. Great product, and I'll continue to use it.

I use several bacteria products. They won’t work fast but combined with good maintenance they really do work on keeping a tank looking sharp.

This stuff really seems to work! I have a bio orb and I have to tell you it is really hard to get these tanks cycled! I’m learning a lot. I put the stuff in and it’s so fast how quickly it clears the water.
