this one is made of 20D nylon --- the other is made of 210T polyester 20D Nylon can be far thinner and lighter than 210T polyester. 20D Nylon stretches far more when wet than 210T Polyester -- so the tent may sag when wet. 20D Nylon's Waterproof index is 4000 -- that is 1000 higher than 210T Polyster's 3000. 20D Nylon is more tear resistant than 210T Polyester at the same strength - meaning Polyester must be thicker and therefore heavier than nylon in order to maintain the same tear resistance.

If it's within a reasonable period, push your communications through Amazon (if you aren't already). I have found when it comes through Amazon's website, vendors are sometimes more inclined to respond than get a "black eye" with Amazon.
