Genuine Health Fermented Vegan Proteins+ Bar, Dark Chocolate Almond, 14g Protein, Gluten Free, 12 Count

Pros:-Macros are good (14g protein, 9g sugar, 9g fat)-Tastes and looks like a brownie, even has almond nuts on top & in it-As product info shows, it's vegan, but no soy-It's the only non-dairy, gluten-free, non-whey, non-soy bar out there that's not loaded with sugar-Presumably due to the fermented ingredients, it doesn't give me the bloat that whey bars do (now that I've given up dairy)Cons:-It's a new product, so not much feedback out there yet (which is what motivated my review)-A bit pricey at $2.62/bar (I paid $31.45 for a box of 12 in Feb2016)I've tried dozens of different protein bars, and have spent an embarrassing amount of money & time on Amazon and local health food stores on them. I came across this one while on my everlasting quest to find a good-tasting, non-dairy, gluten-free, non-whey, non-soy bar that's not loaded with sugar. (If a protein bar has more sugar than protein, in my book, it's a candy bar.)There are a few other paleo-style bars out there, but they lack the taste and texture of this bar -- it really tastes as good as the best bars out there, but doesn't have any of the ingredient triggers (wheat, milk, etc) that most do. This bar actually tastes (and looks!) like a dark chocolate brownie -- I was amazed at how soft it is!I have no affiliation with this company, and I paid full price for this product here on Amazon -- I tend to discount other reviews that get free stuff. I had to write this review in hopes of helping others who, perhaps like me, spend too much time searching for and trying protein bars! Maybe this one will work for you too.

A teeny bit chalky but overall a good flavor and a generously sized bar. A great vegan option.

Have had a super good experience with fermented protein, digests easy and tastes really good. I rated this flavor bar higher than the other flavor lemon. The protein seems to just blend better, and the bar has a nice fudgie brownie taste instead of a powdery protein texture.If your vegan, body building, athlete, have digestion issues, these bars are a must.
