I loved the fact that I was able to purchase from Amazon the correct bulb socket for my 2002 Mercedes. The cost was much less than buying the part from the dealer, but more IMPORTANTLY was that the product came as advertised, and when installed, worked perfectly!

reasonable before locating a an auto salvage yard with car parts, had to troubleshoot and repair the electrical circuit board on tail light was the problem.

old one was black. there are 5 retainer clips to remove, 1 near "brush" and 4 in panel next to first aid kit. be sure to use a nail puller or clip puller to remove the center post first, then the outer clip will easily come out. a large panel will come off the inner side but you will only be able to gently pull the top an inch or two away from the "brush". this allows you, however, to look down from the top to see what your hand is doing as you snake it in from the inside of the trunk. 15 minutes or so.

The product did not fit my vehicle. While the refund was efficiently processed, there was a return postage fee that I was unaware of, as if I were aware, I would never have purchased the product. On a $17 purchase, it cost $4 postage to return!Ridiculous!!!

Used to fix constant dash bulb warning messages on my 2008 ml350.... my bulbs, however, we're working but contact issues preventing system from seeing this? Anyway, installed these to replace old bulb sockets and dash warning lights went away and have not come back. Great product!

Price a little steep for a consumable item on a 20 year old car
