Goes on like window tint, once applied it becomes an invisible barrier. What makes install much easier is a spray bottle with some soap & water solution, and pre cutting it. Spray both film and object to be applied to and apply it. Then spray outside to squeegee smooth of excess liquid

Good quality product, did not work well on the bow of my boat where the roller hits it. It just wrinkled it up and made it start coming off. This products is not a protector for for the bow keel, I wanted to see if it would work for this application. It was easy to install and remove when it didn’t work for my experiment. Good product, but not for where something is going to rub hard against it.

The product looks like 8mm and has good adhesiveness feel to it. I can tell the quality is quite good. I give it 3 stars overall based on the jagged edges. Both sides of the short edges aren’t cut clean and visually you can see the jagged lines, so I can’t use it as a straight edge and have to cut off the jagged lines, that means more work. It doesn’t matter if your project doesn’t involve straight lines but mine does.

Novice installer on a new truck. Took 2-3 hours to get the bubbles out. If your ok with looking 70% perfectionist with noticeable imperfections then door yourself. If not just pay the money to a professional to get it done.

Used on door sills for new vehicle. I have used the same product in the past and it has remained on for 2 years without problems. As a tip... whatever you're apply this film to must be perfectly clean or it will not look good.
