Amazing book
The recipes are easily adaptable for vegans (flaxseed eggs (1 tblspn ground flaxseed + 3 tblspns water = 1 egg equivalent) for eggs, non-dairy yoghurt or applesauce for yoghurt, and vegan sweetener for honey), and there is a terrific amount of unique recipes for healthy cakes. This includes using a lot of ancient grains (spelt, etc.) and a great coconut flour/ nut flour sponge base. I highly recommend this product.

6 years on, still my favourite 😍. The best banana bread recipe, for example, plus many others. Used weekly. Thinking baking but healthier.... Just perfect .

A beautiful book
I bought this on the strength of the beetroot and chocolate cake recipe, which I'd already discovered online, because I thought it would be full of similar recipes, which I could make for my rather unhealthy partner (and for myself) as an occasional treat. However, many of the recipes contain quite a lot of sugar in the form of honey, maple syrup or unrefined sugar (the beetroot cake only has the beetroot, the small amount of sugar in the chocolate and a small quantity of honey), which we try to avoid, so I'm somewhat disappointed and continue only to make the beetroot cake. But it's a really beautiful-looking book.

a waste of money
how this can be described as nourishing and healthy is a joke, and unless you live near a health food shop you'd struggle to make some of the cakes, lacking in pictures too of the cakes mentioned. will be dumping it in charity shop.

Beautiful photography and lovely recipes
Beautiful photography and lovely recipes, my family have all enjoyed these. Easy to make, delicious, and a little bit more nutritious than your average baking. All ingredients are in the supermarket or the more unusual one are on Amazon. Make the Nutmeg Love cake immediately, it's fantastic!
