Flexible and very good at masking paint. Plastic protectors are supplied on both sides. This is important to keep on as you use the tape to prevent any dust collection on the side of the tape. My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that it is hard to start the initial release from the roll. EXCELLENT product!!

This is very thin tape and worked great on detailing my T-38 model. I use Tamiya tape for masking areas on all my model builds. It does not rip off paint and that's its biggest feature. I have also been able to stretch it a bit to cover very small areas. It's a little pricey but worth it. I dislike having fix errors and I have never had to do that when I correctly mask the area I want to cover. I recommend this tape for modelers.

This tape worked well, easy to curve for intricate striping, holds well, didn't experience any color bleed on multicolor paint schemes.

I found years ago that the best way to mask complex shapes and slight curves was to cut thin lengths of masking tape which I did by hand with a straight edge. Now I can just use a roll of this tape to do that. What makes this work is the plastic disk on the sides of the roll that keep the edges of the tape clean. Tamiya knows this and have actually used modelers to try it. Well thought out offering of the best masking tape available in the industry.
