The thumbstick module was made by Favor Union (FU). The stick controller comes with 10KΩ trimmer potentiometers in orange. The 14 prongs were positioned as the same as ALPS edition. Technically, the whole unit is interchangeable with EL1 ALPS 10K used in PS4 controllers, and other brands like ‘Scuf’ and ‘Raiju Ultimate’ with ALPS joysticks inside. However, the trim pot resistor alone is not interchangeable with ALPS edition ✔ Replace the wiper alone even without soldering In some cases, you can just replace the wheel in the potentiometer to solve specific problems like: Stuttering, dead zone, creeping, or not as responsive as it should be ✔ Replace the potentiometer alone with an iron 80% chances of joystick problem are caused by the sensor. In another words, the rotary mechanism and the tactile switches are not the problem. De-soldering the unit with only 3Pin can be easier than replacing the entire module with as many as 14 prongs ✔ A heat gun to replace the whole module This is the most suggested for an experienced soldering expert ✔ Experts with a normal iron to replace the whole unit For a soldering expert with no professional de-soldering wick braid, solder sucker pump or hot air rework station at hand. To make it easy, we suggest crushing the problem joystick into small enough pieces with a pair of pliers ✔ By professional technicians in a cellphone repair shop Suggested for someone with no handy tools ## Features - [EL2 FU 10K for PS4/PS3 Controller] – 4x replacement analog joystick was found in some PS4 DualShock 4 came with PlayStation 4 Pro, and some PS3 controllers also use this version. The thumbstick module was made by Favor Union (FU). The stick controller comes with 10KΩ trimmer potentiometers in orange - [Compatibility] – The 14 prongs were positioned as the same as ALPS edition. Technically, the whole unit is interchangeable with EL1 ALPS 10K used in PS4 controllers, and other brands like ‘Scuf’ and ‘Raiju Ultimate’ with ALPS joysticks inside. However, the trim pot resistor alone is not interchangeable with ALPS edition - [Additional Resistor] – Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear finally caused drifting. Even new sensors cannot be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. We packed 10x correction resistors to solve the potential problem in hardware level. Solder one or two paralleled tiny resistors onto the potentiometer at the opposite direction against drifting. It will help correct 3 to 5 degrees drifting - [When to replace] – The analog joystick needs to be replaced when your controller has the problem of drifting, creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, no reaction when clicking, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. The OEM genuine repair parts ensure accuracy and prolong lifespan - [Reminder of Operation] – With as many as 14 prongs, de-soldering and soldering the whole module takes serious skills. Professional repair with a heat gun is suggested. You can simply replace the side potentiometer sensor alone to solve most of the joystick problems ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07R7RJ4KY | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,440 in Videogames ( See Top 100 in Videogames ) #72 in PlayStation 4 Accessory Kits | | Brand Name | ElecGear | | Color | El2 Fu 10k for Ps4 / Ps3 | | Compatible Devices | Playstation 3, Playstation 4 | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars (369) | | Hardware Platform | Gaming Console | | Manufacturer | ElecGear | | Manufacturer Part Number | EL2-FU-10K | | Model Number | EL2-FU-10K | | UPC | 682141318000 | ## Images ![ElecGear 4x Replacement Joystick (EL2 FU 10K) + 4x Drift Fix PCB for PS4 / PS3 Wireless Controller, Analog Stick Controller Sensor Assembly Thumbstick Module for PlayStation - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/515sLsTXlzL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are you sure these are alps modules? i think the orange and black modules are made by polyshine/favor union. you can tell by the "f" logo on the side.** A: These are favor union modules. F logo followed by RSF. I ordered these prior to controller tear down. **Q: Are the orange ones the same sensor wheel as the orange ds4 ones? i bought a pack of the blue sensor wheels only, but i need orange ones instead.** A: Yes the orange ones are more sensitive the are the new gen, but you can use blue ones, just need to put both sensors you Can't use 1 blue 1 orange **Q: What is the spring tension? Howany grams?** A: Don't know the grams in specific, all i can say is they work and feel like the originals. I have been using them for more than 3 months **Q: Can you substitute the blue joysticks for the orange?** A: I am not sure, sorry. I thought I read somewhere on here that the pin location was different between the orange and blue? I replaced mine 3 months ago and I thought there was a reason why you should replace in kind but cannot remember. ## Frequently Bought Together - ElecGear Replacement Joystick and Drift Fix PCB for Controllers, Analog Stick Controller Sensor Thumbsticks for PS5, PS4, Xbox, Xbox Elite, Switch Pro and more by ALPS and FU, Models from EL1 to EL7 - JoyCon Replacement 4 Pack, Analog Thumb Stick for Switch Joy-Con Controller & Switch Lite, Left/Right Analog Joystick with Thumbstick Grips & Screws - Deal4GO Left & Right Slide Rail w/Sensor Flex Cable Compatible with Nintendo Switch & Switch OLED Joycon Controller Slider Rail --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/255359278-elecgear-4x-replacement-joystick-el2-fu-10k-4x-drift-fix](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/255359278-elecgear-4x-replacement-joystick-el2-fu-10k-4x-drift-fix) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
