Great idea - lovely scent - just wish it came in larger size.

This refill bottle is excellent value and lasts a long time which makes it economical as well as environmentally friendly. I like knowing I’m cutting down on waste while saving money. The deodorant itself is very effective and works better for me than most commercial aerosols or roll-ons. Even on the warmest days it keeps me fresh, and I can honestly say I’m someone who sweats a lot. It’s gentle on my skin, doesn’t leave yellow marks on clothes and the fact that it’s unscented means it never clashes with my perfumes or body lotions. If you’re looking to switch to natural products, this is a brilliant choice that proves you don’t need chemicals to stay protected.

I bought this because I have. A medical condition that makes me sensitive to chemicals. I honestly wondered if it would work because I usedbhecvy duty anti-perspirant before and it does! I have no reactions to it, it has a very pleasant scent which is a plus since I can't wear perfume and is very good value for money. If you are thinking of swapping your current deodorant for something for environmentally and health friendly I recommend having a go.

Many deodorants cannot be refilled due to them being compressed in a metal cylinder. This means we throw away a lot of these canisters over the course of a year. These products probably contain chemicals I have never heard. I can often taste an aerosol after spraying it, and this is where the Salt of The Earth Natural Deodorant comes in. I recently bought a 100ml bottle of the Vetiver & Citrus scent and I loved it. I have heard many good things about the brand so I had to try it. A backstory of mine is I aim for all my skin care to be natural, recyclable/refillable and vegan in most cases. This deodorant fits all of these briefs. The company is based in the UK, and I always like to try and buy local, you get less air miles and support business based in your country. With the option to refill the product you are using far less plastic over the lifespan and you do not need to worry about when to buy another. The overall scent is citrus with woodsy notes. I find the deodorant is not heavy smelling or artificial like most aerosols. The bottle is a spray making it easy to apply and there are various other products including a travel spray and roll on to meet other use cases. Personally I find the smell is very masculine with the wood tones. I apply this in the morning after a shower or wash and feel confident in the day ahed.

Kinder to the skin than sticks or other sprays. Refills make it much cheaper. Only issue is that the cap is difficult to remove.

I’ve been using this for over two years now so a very fair review. I’ve tried nearly all the known natural deodorant brands and they’re not good, in fact there was times I didn’t want to leave my house in fear I wouldn’t smell fresh. I recently bought the Wild deodorant because I kept getting adverts and read good reviews so I thought I would give it a go, wish I hadn’t, it lasts a maximum of 4-6 before you smell really bad, admittedly that is in Summer but SotE lasts ages, a minimum of 12 hours unless exercising but that is to be expected, often more, especially in Winter before needing a refresh which is exactly what is stated it will do. Perhaps it’s the Possium Alum enabling it to work, which isn’t in other brands deodorants but this does work; at last I can be happy knowing I’m not harming my body just to stay fresh smelling all day. I did experience slight irritation when using the fragranced option but once I switched to fragrance free, I haven’t experienced any issues since. This litre bottle has lasted me so long, very good value for money. Highly recommend!
