I only have only found 4 brands of coffee worth drinking
I am a coffee snob. A lot of people claim a given coffee is not bitter and you taste it and it still tastes bitter and burnt. For example starbucks is burnt coffee. Most coffee is either naturally bitter due to additives such as chicory, or burnt tasting due to how they roast it. I have sampled many many coffees from cheap to $100/lb.I have only found 4 brands I consistently reorder and this is one of them. And of those 4 brands none of them have the anywhere near the selection of decaf flavors as Christopher Bean. If you like coffee that tastes like coffee, and not burnt coffee, you can't go wrong here. Of the brands I like, this one has the strongest flavorings, that can be a plus or a minus depending on your preferences. The raspberry and amaretto flavorings are little overpowering, I would use 1/4 raspberry blend with a chocolate coffee so it didn't overwhelm everything else. All other flavors are really good, my top pick is mistletoe mocha and chocolate indulgence but they are all really good.

Incomplete Packaging Seal
This is the 3rd bag of Caramel Walnut Shortbread ground decaf coffee that I have received that the top was not completely sealed. This allowed the coffee grounds to leak into the Amazon packaging. Christopher Bean has a quality problem with their packaging production line. I will not be buying anymore of their coffee. On packaging, I would give them a Rating of 0 if I could. Unfortunately, when I tried to return the last bag for credit, I found that this product had been designated Non-Returnable. I have been buying from Amazon for many years and this is the first time that I have run into this issue. Lesson Learned: I will be very careful to read the product info ad completely and if their is a Non-Returnable designation, then I will not buy it. I advise others to do the same because you could end up with a defective product that might cost much more than my $13 bag of coffee. For products with this designation Amazon will be backing the Seller not the paying Buyer. With Amazon's very liberal return policy I am shocked that they have done this on certain products.

Coffee bag had small tear in it, some coffee spilled
I could smell the coffee before I opened package, turns out coffee bag was slightly open and some of the coffee grinds spilled out. Coffee did smell good. I'm sure coffee taste good but I'm not drinking it since its had a tear in it I put a straw were bag was torn to show location of tear. Too bad this is a non-returnable item.

Decaf flavored coffee
What I like is this is a decaf coffee that has the full flavor of a caffeinated. It's bold with the subtle sweetness of caramel & mocha & I add a little dry creamer to mine. It satisfies my coffee craving in the morning & because it's a decaf I can enjoy it at night as well. It doesn't actually take as much to brew either I found as I would normally use, I only use 2 scoops for a 10 cup pot & it's plenty satisfying. I love it. It's also a nice flavor for a desert cafe'. I recommend it to all of you coffee lovers.

Coffee has a smoked flavor and smell to it
The package arrived and as I opened the bag it was delivered in coffee started spilling out. There was about a 1/4 of the bag emptied into the envelope it was delivered in. There was no puncture but the way they make the bag, there is the ability for it to spill out if they did not seal it. The coffee has a strange smoked smell and flavor. I was not crazy about it. I bought two different flavors and both had that smell and flavor.

There was a damage issue that is apparently common
The coffee package arrived open. It’s clearly a sealing issue in production. It was never properly sealed. This is too dangerous to try. It smells nice, but who knows what’s gotten into it.I’m now having trouble figuring out how to get a refund. It looks like this is a common issue (way more common than it should be) that was buried in the reviews.

Good flavored but very lightly roasted
These coffee have a great flavor but I find I need to use a bit more coffee than I traditionally do to obtain the same strength. I don't like my coffee strong, but in having to use more coffee to get the same level of strength I get in grocery store coffee this turns out to make these coffees most expensive and they are already pricey in my opinion. A nice alternative to one or no selections of flavored decaf at your local store in any case. If you like your coffee strong you're going to use quite a bit to get the taste you're looking for.
