I use dark colors to tone down my bright blonde hair. Sometimes shades can leave a purple or ashy tint if you use too much. Most of the main color in most of these rinses are of the purple and red family so if you have porous hair, the purple and red hues will grab on to the ends, so be careful. Although these rinses are temporary, most stay in the hair through several shampoos. I have never had any rinse shampoo out completely back to my original color. They seem to build up. At times, my hair will get too dark or at least darker than I want it, so it gets lightened again when I have my roots done and then I start all over. There are several fanciful shades to try and they all work great!

I had used this product many years ago but thought it had long been taken off the market so upon learning it's available through Amazon it was a done deal to get it again. It's easy to apply, dries well, doesn't rub off, even survives a quick shampoo and yes it does add a shine to your hair. Because it doesn't contain a lot of harsh chemicals i feel that's an added bonus. Will continue to use this hair color.

I like the color of the hair rinse

I love this product! It's great for touch ups in between salon appointments. Any accidental drops on clothing or surfaces come off with a quick wash. The downside, it must be put on wet hair. Also, I think it should come with a spray nozzle. I saved one and use it on the bottle.
