Very compact
Does exactly what I wanted it to, is nice and compact when folded up so as to make it transportable but does exactly what is required to hold the bike up when unfolded, although you do need to put a strategically placed foot on the unit when inserting and removing the bike to hold it in place which is easy enough to do and only requires light pressure that was not unexpected.

Foldable and compact, lightweight, well built
I needed a stand to hold my mtn bike that has 27.5 X 2.4 wide wheels. I also needed it lightweight and compact to take it with me in my car. I have several other stands but none would work with this bike. I couldn't believe how light it is and it holds my mtn bike very well. It just worked with my 2.4 wide tires. Any wider and it wouldn't have worked. It also worked great holding my road bike with 23C tires. The stand has an additional narrow slot to allow for this narrow wheels. I'm very pleased!

Poorly designed
1. Rack is not sturdy. 3 pound stand cannot hold up a 40 pound bike. Stand feels like a plastic piece of light weight junk. Don’t believe that the bike will roll in to the stand you have to place the front wheel on the stand while using both hands one hand holding the rack the other hand holding the wheel. Once in the stand just a touch and the bike will fall over. Stand needs to be set in concrete or nailed/screwed to a wooden form in order to keep it in place and sliding all over the floor. I usually don’t pay any attention to negative reviews but in this case I wish I would have. I will put it in the next yard sale and hope to get a couple of dollars for it. Hate boxing up a return and sending it back for a refund and all the hassle that goes along with it. Love shopping at Amazon but will bite the bullet on this one.

Ok if you never move your bike
Pro: Holds your bike upright, and folds down small enough to fit in a backpack.Cons: The folding feet will not stay in the “open” position. Whenever you place the bike’s wheel in the stand, the folding feet start folding up. It becomes a constant struggle of having to re-open the legs/feet every time the stand moves (…even if the stand only moves an inch or two.) it would be better if the folding feet locked in the “open” position… but they don’t. Because of that, I wouldn’t buy this product again. Go with a stand whose feet don’t fold up with the slightest movement.

very light and amazingly small form factor; a great choice if portability is a priority
It follows a pretty standard design (if you've been looking on Amazon for a while) but has the smallest form factor of any I considered. So small, b/c its 4 legs bend into the frame when not in use, that I thought maybe Amazon sent the wrong item when I saw the very small shipping box. Overall a very good design, but scoots along the floor every time you place or remove your bike. That's the downside of how light it is. And then sometimes, when it scoots, the folding legs fold when you don't want them to. If small size and portability are a priority, this is a great choice. If stability, both lateral and front/rear is more a priority than form factor and weight, consider the "BIKEHAND Bike Floor Type Parking Rack Stand - for Mountain MTB & Road Bicycles Indoor Outdoor Garage Storage " It has a small tilting wire "cradle" at the back end which prevents scooting. For me that was more important than the lightness and small size for storage.
