Excellent, and just a bit unusual.
I've had these for a month, plenty of time to get to know them. I have named them Clementine (left) and Clearance (right). These were purchased over similar models because of solid reviews, and also because they're just a bit different looking among a throng of black or "rose gold" or white ear apparatuses, and that slight difference appeals to me. One of their oddities, along with their cool assembly of colors, is that the cord dislodges itself from the left-hand side, not the traditional right-hand side as I've seen in similar models. The cord also has a mute button, which is nice if you want to be just a smidgen rude but not entirely rude to anyone who dares talk to you while you've got your tunes, your games, or your work. You can be just a little bit rude and still leave your headphones perfectly in place while you're bombarded by ridiculous inquiries. Another press of the mute button and, viola, you are back to your own little world. They're a bit nostalgic, in a way, reminding me of the original Sony headphones that I first got in the seventh grade, and actually still own, as they still work, though the ear pads have fallen apart and now leave dark, leatherette specks everywhere, so that I look as though I'm covered in fleas (I'm not—that I know of). These headphones are simple like the Sonys, have the same sort of design, but the cord is much shorter. I'd recommend getting an extension, a three-foot extender would be adequate. I purchased the twelve-footer because I'm a blacksheep overachiever. If you have another external jack someplace, like on your external speakers, you might not mind the shorter cord if you're at a desktop computer, like I usually am. And obviously this shorter cord works fine if it's being plugged into a portable device. The jack is 3.5 mm standard, but it's not a flat jack like a lot of headphones (including my old Sonys), but has a 90-degree angled jack, more like what you'd see on a DC adapter plug. This is not a flaw by any means, it's just a bit odd. Again, probably part of their overall wish to be a bit more dynamic in the area of design. Also, with all my chitchat about the cord, you should probably realize by now that these are not wireless headphones. You don't have to charge them. You don't have to worry about battery life. It's kind of nice that way. Got a long flight to Fiji and need headphones for napping? Get these. Going on a summer road trip with the family and need to block out the constant whining and whinging of your siblings? Get these. If you're the type that likes good sound, these really can't be beat for what they are: smaller, lighter in weight, and comfortable, with enough boom-boom bass that your lobes vibrate, and not so pitchy on the treble. You can listen to your deep-bass tracks, like Koan, and then move on to your higher-pitch pop tunes, like Madonna (who always did like a sharper, clearer sound in her music)—and then everything between. You know, your deep-bass pop tunes, so that would be Röyksopp and Pet Shop Boys remixes, yes-no? These headphones will give them the honor of good sound that they richly deserve. Also, getting into the package to exhume these headphones from their plastic confines was truly an undertaking. (Documentary coming soon.) Well worth it, though. I'd buy these again—probably in a different color. I'm perfectly happy with the gray and purple pair I purchased, goes with my Scottish family tartan, but I'd probably choose something bright and more exuberant next time to compliment my Polish side. Happy listening, all! Edit... stardate 020820... Adding two facts that I've discovered. Fact one: When handling these headphones, they're small enough to feel a bit on the dainty side, but you also are empowered with the sensation that they are tough little buggers. These would be suitable for people who are a bit klutzy, can break things easily because they don't know their own strength, and also for tweens and teenagers who aren't too picky about owning name-brand goods like all the so-called "cool kids." Fact two: I can wear them for many hours straight without my ears hurting. And please keep in mind that I have an abnormally large head (part of this is hair). I can wear these 3-4 hours comfortably. I find myself wearing them a lot. I'm a writer (what? I know, you're shocked) and I'm at the computer a lot, and sometimes the only way I can write massive amounts in one day is to wear headphones. These work great and I can space out into my fictional lands where all the music is bassy and all the trees are leafy.

Perfect for School and Everyday Use
I purchased these headphones for my son to use for school, and they have been a great fit for his needs. They are comfortable, lightweight, and easy to wear for extended periods. I also really appreciate that they fold up easily, which makes storing them in his backpack or when not in use much more convenient. They’re a simple, practical option that gets the job done without taking up much space. Great value for everyday school use.

Jlabs Neon Headphones so comfortable my dog wanted to try them
I picked these up recently and wanted tp share my thoughts. I have decided to start doing video reviews as this YouTube thing seems to be all the rage with kids today. This video is the same as the one attached, just a higher quality. [...] Jlabs Neon headphones are nicer than I was expecting. A few notes about my review. I wear hearing aids so I am a bit sensitive about comfort for headphones. I also listen to live music regularly and am also sensitive about sound quality. let's start with sound, since that is what we usually get headphones for. I have spent a little over a day with these headphones listening to music and watching some netflix and YouTube videos. General sound - these sound pretty decent, there is detail there and I was comfortable listening with them for quite a while with most things. The sound on them is a bit colored and no as natural as I would have liked them to be. Music - I found them enjoyable to listen with and was able to hear the detail in my music, but the coloration of the sound can be a bit bothersome. There is a little bit of exaggerated low end and exaggerated highs. In certain songs the snare was a bit harsh and bass guitar a little much. I also would have liked a little more volume. Netflix and youtube - worked great - sound coloration was not a problem at all and the speech range was great. Comfort - this is where I really liked these and makes my less critical of the sound. They are extremely comfortable and light and if you watch the video I will talk about that. The comfort on these makes me want to get a pair of Jlabs higher end headphones and try them out, if they are as comfortable with better sound I may have find them as my new favorite set. overall, great value for the money, super comfortable and sound decent. Would make a great gift

Very soft and light, but also very good and deep sound.
I just got these headphones literally fifteen minutes ago. They are to replace a much more expensive pair of Behringer headphones that I got for my birthday three years ago. I saw the price, and the high star-rating, so I thought I would take a chance. These are now my favorite headphones - and I have had (currently and previously) quite a few. They are made of that half-plastic/half-rubber material - something like neoprene - that is both strong and soft. I unplugged my beat-up old headphones, plugged these in, and I immediately noticed a very drastic increase in both the quality and deepness of sound. To test them out, I rewatched a YouTube video, and suddenly noticed that there is quiet background music in the video that I hadn't heard before. Also, the stereo of the sound is particularly good. I could hear just that aforementioned background music in my right ear, the main YouTuber's voice in my left ear, and all other voices spread evenly between both ears. I was easily able to tell what everyone was individually saying, even with the background music. The sound was so deep and immersive that I had to turn down what I normally have my volume controls set at. So, yeah. I love these headphones already. Oh, and the cord is not that long - maybe four feet - but long enough for most purposes, and not too long to get tangled or drag on the floor. It's also made of that braided nylon, which I also really like in headphone cords. And, the 3.5 mm jack is a nice snug fit. Sometimes the jack is loose and falls out. Not here. There was a nice satisfying "click" when I connected it, and it does not budge at all with a few light tugs. I don't know anything about the noise cancelling or volume features of these headphones. I control all of that from what I have the headphones plugged into.

Quality gone down...
My last black pair I bought a few years back are denser, have a much tighter clamp, maybe too much, the materials overall have a better quality feel, but these, while I appreciate less clamp force like my original blue ones years back that went by a different model name but are the same headphones, these are slightly too loose that just sit on the ears and feel like all the sound is not kept in. The sound is weaker and less substantial, lacking fullness, and more on the flatter narrow side, probably using cheaper parts just like the rest of the materials in comparison to my original black pair, everything just seems cheaper, including the earpads which could be thicker and harder to compensate for the overly loose clamping force so maybe the sound would improve and would have a secure feeling fit on my head. I bought two this time because they're basically half off from the original price of $20, so I don't know how the other pair is going to be until I open it, hopefully better quality. The box on this one looked like it had been opened before, because some of the tape adhesive was oozing around the tape, like it was re-taped in a different position, could have been left in a hot factory and lost its grip over time, however, the tape wasn't fully on either, either because it was picked opened, but could be because it lost its adhesive. Another thing I miss with the original blue model is the curved height adjusters, because they narrowed the height adjusters on the new model, while the blue variation still exists, they now presumably have narrow height adjusters as well. I got rid of my blue pair, so I cannot do a comparison, but I felt they helped with reinforcing the adjusters so they don't move out of position, which gave a tight adjustment on each side that wouldn't change for a while, which the newer ones do. The older blue model I bought from Office Depot years back went by a different name, I forgot, they were the exact same JLab model headphones but weren't called "Neon". Also, there's another name called "JBuddies" for other color variations.

10/10 would buy again
Absolutely love my JLabs, own many, first pair still works even after many years of constant use. Sound: Great, even tho not noise canceling, you could easily get lost in your music Mic: Good, voice mainly comes in clear when I have to use it Cord:Good, could be longer but is perfect if using with phone Sturdiness: Excellent, the reason for 5 stars, many mishaps with dropping them or a dog catching the cord, but these babys are build to last, never lost audio in one ear cause the cord got caught bent/pulled the wrong way

Aceptables para el costo
Se escucha un poco distorsionado, pero, supongo es lo que se tiene que aceptar por el costo de allí en fuera todo bien
