This is the perfect food bowl riser - highly recommended!
I almost did not buy this because there are negative reviews that this food bowl riser is "flimsy," "cheap," or "poorly constructed." That is unfortunate because nothing is further from the truth. Rather, those that took away stars or panned this stand in their review either (A) did not read the description and/or directions or (B) do not understand what it means when something is purposely manufactured to be ADJUSTABLE. There is something inherently wrong with criticizing an item because it is exactly what it is described as being and has been built to be - but that is what has happened here with the negative reviews. This food bowl riser is DEFINITELY NOT "flimsy," nor "cheap," nor "poorly constructed." Rather, it is ADJUSTABLE, meaning that it will fit a wide range of food bowls of varying size. Given that it is adjustable, that means there MUST be a certain amount of play between the different parts. If it were not so, it could not be adjustable. ________________________ I have used this riser to feed what is now my very large, 1 year old puppy dog for more than 6 months - 2 or 3 meals per day every day. This food bowl riser is the perfect height for him and as I said, it easily adjusts to fit whatever bowl he eats from. Even as enthusiastic as he gets at mealtime, it has never, not even once, tipped over, been knocked over, nor even slid across the floor. It has steadfastly survived each meal with him eating the food, licking the bowl, licking the riser legs, licking the floor under the bowl/riser, and dancing around the kitchen after finishing the meal. This is made out of sturdy bamboo. It adjusts with 1 hand, folds flat using the included Allen wrench in seconds (well, as long as you do not lose the Allen wrench - it is 4 mm if you do lose it, by the way), and when closed to its smallest footprint, takes up very little room. If you need to lift your dog's food bowl off the floor to make it easier to eat, this very-well-build riser will do it for you. Very highly recommended. P.S. The large silver ball (Omega Paw Ball, ASIN: B0028QHN3G) is there to slow his eating and prevent bloat. ________________________ P.P.S. For those that do not like that this riser has a little play between the moving parts, you can always size it to fit your specific dog bowl and then permanently secure the slats together with super-glue, nuts and bolts, clips, or whatever, and that would certainly make it more solid ... ... but then it would no longer be adjustable, would it?

Great stands
I love these stands! I got my first one about a year ago. It has held up amazing and looks just as good as the stands I got a month ago. I have tall dogs, so it's nice to get their dishes off the floor. I have the 14" tall stand. They can hold a range of dog dish sizes, as you can see from the photos. It's just big enough to hold the giant slow feed dish. I also got the stand for the waterer. That stand is a commonly returned item, but I'm not sure why. It holds the waterer tightly and has not tipped. All I can think is that people don't properly measure the waterer before ordering. I do love these, but I should tell you that they are not the most sturdy of stands. However, if you raise anything up without giving it a wider base, it will tip easier. These are lightweight, so the stand holding the slow feeder dish does slide around the floor a bit. However, the dog who needs the slow feeder also gets over exited for food. I wasn't sure how it would hold up to her, but it has not tipped over once so I am very happy. In case people are wondering, the dogs who use these are a Weimaraner, a Standard Poodle, and two Newfiedoodles (one dish and stand is not pictured). They are all large dogs and the height works well for all of them.

Great if you have a dog that has never knocked anything over in its life.
This stand looks nice, is easy to put together, and easy to adjust for bowl fitment. However, this stand doesn't have a wide enough base (compared to the height and being top heavy due to the bowl of food/water) to keep it from wobbling and tipping over. If you have a dog that runs around like a bull in a China shop, eats ravenously, or drinks like life depends on it, I DO NOT recommend this stand. If you have a dog that has never knocked anything over ever, this just might be the stand for you! Just not for me.

Great for Big Dogs & Clean Floors Highly Recommend!
I recently upgraded to this standing dog water/food bowl for my German Shepherd, and I’m really impressed with the quality and design. ✅ Pros: Perfect height: My dog no longer has to strain his neck while eating or drinking. It’s especially helpful for older dogs or large breeds with joint issues. Sturdy build: The frame is solid and doesn’t wobble, even when my dog eats enthusiastically. No mess: The elevated bowls keep food and water from splashing onto the floor. Huge improvement over our old setup. Easy to clean: The stainless steel bowls pop out easily and rinse clean in seconds. Dishwasher safe too! Sleek look: The design actually looks nice in our kitchen. 🔻 Minor downside: I wish the bottom part was dishwasher safe as well. Overall, this standing bowl set is a game changer for large dogs or owners who are tired of cleaning up floor messes. Would definitely recommend this to any dog owner looking for a cleaner, healthier feeding station.

Moves, tips over, and bowl falls out
This is just OK. It's not the sturdiest thing in the world. I like that it is elevated for my elderly dog, so that she doesn't have to eat off the floor. The bowl fits but when my dog eats, the bowl pops out of the holder more often than not. Because it is universal and spring loaded, once the bowl pops out, I then have to pull the arms apart and pop the bowl back in. Not the biggest deal in the world but annoying. It is very lightweight and moves easily. Sometimes it tips over and my dog isn't even an aggressive or fast eater. She is very gentle and slow moving. I wish it had a little more weight to it and that the bowl stayed put. I have had other elevated bowl holders before that never did this.

Perfect for food bowls
Works great for my Boston’s terroir who gets an upset stomach super easily. Holds the bowl great and has grips on the bottom so it doesn’t move either. Easy to clean and put together

Sturdy, tall, easy to assemble
I was hesitant to buy this as a lot of reviews complained it wasn't sturdy, but then I read one review that said to ignore those as it was very sturdy. I'm glad I went with that review because this is a very sturdy stand. You have to make sure you screw everything tight, and once you do it's not moving at all. There's one screw to hold the two bamboo pieces together so they make the X shape. Then each arm has a screw you can loosen to be the necessary length for whatever bowl you're using. It comes with a tool so make sure you don't lose it! You'll have to mess with the arms some to get them just right. I kept them all tight and only loosened one at a time until I got them to be perfect. I've had this a while now and my rescue German shepherd puppy, who is about to turn 5 months, has bumped her butt against this a few times and it hasn't fallen over! I do have it against a wall, but still. It can handle a large puppy. And I'm sure it can handle other large, active dogs. It's nice and tall. You can see in the pictures it's taller than another single bowl stand I got. I've had that one for nearly a decade and love it, even got two more for the food bowls, but since this puppy appears to be growing larger than my other dogs I needed something taller. My other dog also has used this stand and thinks it's great! If you have dogs who are 60lbs+ like mine definitely get this. I'm using it as a water bowl but might get one for food if this puppy keeps growing at this current rate until she's an adult!

Okay product..
Bought 3 of them exactly 3 months ago and they’re falling apart. 1 of them I had to just glue gun it myself within the first 2 months. The adjusting part can be tough and in the other one it’s pretty loose. My dogs knock them over a handful of times too. The color was not very accurate. That wasn’t much of an issue since it’s very similar tones. They’re okay but high maintenance. Unfortunately these were the only ones that were for single bowl so I was limited. Other than that, I wouldn’t be getting these again.
