Use them for cutting 0.8mm mild steel plate to make exhaust bracket assembly for a small engine . This was achieved relatively easily but I think I would struggle with them on 1.2mm stainless steel. They are accurate and cut well . They have a serrated edge which does transfer a bit to the steel so some finishing is necessary. They grip the sheet well too. I Bought the pair as that’s useful to make both right and left curves. One thing to note is that these snips seem designed for large hands. I use XL size gloves and could only just get my fingers around them when fully open. If you have small hands they will be awkward. The quality of these snips is very high and the have a nice finish. They are sprung with a lock to hold them closed when not in use. Quality is of an high industrial standard.

The Tin snips are easy to use and cut very well. Used them to take 6 inches off a garage storage shelf units. Very easy to use on the 90x30x180 shelves, but a little tougher on the 120x45x180 shelves, though it cuts through both with a bit of force. The Tin snips are a heavy duty and very solid. The price is definitely worth the time and effort I’d saved not using them. They look good, have a great feel in use and well worth the money.

I had these sitting in the workshop for a couple of weeks with a job on my list. Then came the job where the bonnet on my sons car would not open and the main dealer could not open it either. Having struggled for about 8 hours over 3 days we decided to cut the bonnet, these did the business and in half an hour the bonnet was open. Easy to use.

Very powerful and sharp scissors, helped me cut the very hard and thick plastic with ease. Very useful.

Item arrived at good condition it was supposed to contain four drills in the package .unfortunately these were missing which was a shame
