Super Tread On Economy Wire Bead Carcass
Sticky tire is FAST!I was thrilled to find the exciting tread design mated to a low cost wire bead carcass. Some of the reviews are disingenuous or ridiculous owner misconceptions, because this is an outstanding tire for many purposes.1. Consider this a semi-slick, not designed for longevity. Want longevity? get a touring tire or deluxe Terreno Dry.2. WIRE BEAD(rigid) do not buy a wire bead, then complain it is a wire bead.3. Although 'Dry' in name, this is an all purpose tread.4. 35-72 psi! I love the lower end of the pressure range.5. Be aware Vittoria has many different models of 'Terreno Dry.'You can't get folding and maximum puncture protection at this price point. No company does that, though sketchy people want a $100 tire for $25.I am a casual cyclist with a variety of terrain, majority poor condition pavement and some gravel. My 'commuter' bike has Vittoria Adventure Tech urban/touring tires for puncture protection and durability. You could say I had the luxury of choosing an (economy priced) performance tire for my sporty hybrid bike. I gave performance most of the weight in my decision to buy this model, and I am delighted. If I lived in goathead country, or racked up high miles, I might try something with more enhanced features. This tire is just about perfect for my sporty hybrid. The 38s plump up to about 42s! If you have limited clearance, size down. This is a fun tire! Bargain priced.

Perfect Combo for Southern AZ Riding!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 - Perfect Combo for Southern AZ Riding! The Martello MTB tire is a winner! Teaming it up with the Mazza has transformed my rides in southern Arizona. The performance is top-notch, and to my surprise, it's even better and more affordable than Maxxis tires. Couldn't be happier with this combo!

The Perfect Tire?
Tires roll much easier than expected. Transition is super smooth and secure when cornering on multiple surfaces; grip/traction outstanding. I was surprised by their quiet on tarmac given their tread pattern. Decent mud shedder. Replaced Conti Race King Protection with nothing lost, only gains.

Comfortable Tire for Road and Dry Trail
I replaced a pair of 50mm meter mountain tires with these when my preferred gravel trails both were regraved with 2 inches of loose gravel. I will be riding primarily on pavement. My biggest concern was how comfortable would be. I went from about 30/35psi to 40/55psi a on substantially narrower tires (from 50c to 40c width). These tires are surprisingly supple and handled the bumps and cracks on my route much better than I anticipated. If found myself using about 2 gears stronger than the bigger mountain tires. Please note: The are not meant for tubeless installation. This version of the Terreno Dry comes rigid (not folded) in a flat square box. The ride is very comfortable and faster than expected. The tires are quite heavy, but I mounted them with extremely light Thermoplastic tubes. I am a recreational cyclist, not interested in racing, like some hill climbs, and average about 100 miles per week. I don't travel on glass and debris strewn roadways and expect good wear from these tires. Glad I took the plunge and paid $20 each.

Easy to install tubeless tires!
These tires are awesome. I am not a pro rider, but these tires definitely grip on the trails. I love the sidewall lettering they put on them. This is for the 29x2.35 tubeless tires. The sidewalks are a darkish grey color and it gives the bike a nice contrasting color scheme.I got the tubeless and they were a breeze to install. Would buy these again.

Great Tire
Running this Martello rear on a Santa Cruz Chameleon C - coming from a Maxxis Rekon (which is the worst tire I have ever used). The Martello is a great tire - it rolls well, grips like nobody's business, and it looks great.

These tires feel amazing on the sides. So much control
I'm a motorcyclist and a bicyclist so good leaning feel is very important to me.I dont know if it's the knobs on the edge or what but something about this tire lets me lean hard without getting squirrely. You can carry so much speed into a corner and trust the tire wont chirp or slide. I'm scraping 160mm cranks with confidence!!Also I had an incident where I absent mindedly rode off the edge of some tarmac at near 20mph into an inch deep of mud. I thought I was surely going to crash but I corrected quickly and the tire billy-goated right back up onto the road. Bent my wheels slightly out of true but no crash!!

Good Tire for Mixed Surface Training and Adventure
Purchased these as a tires as a training tire for this year's gravel race season as these have the same tread pattern as the Terreno Dry G2.0 tubeless tires (which are more than twice the price). As noted in other reviews, these are wire bead and designed to be run with tubes. They also appear to be consistent with the Terreno Dry Gravel Adventure tires shown on Vittoria's website. While the listed and marked size is 700x38c, the ETRTO number is 40-622 so expect them to run wider than 38 once mounted and inflated. There are a couple of inconsistencies between the photos in the listing and the actual tires. The listing shows the tires packaged as folding, which the tires are not. Photos in the listing also show the tires marked with the red Graphene 2.0, which is not present on the actual tires.

Poco durevoli
