Don't Do It.... Keep Searching!!! (You've Been Warned)
This vise did everything that I needed it to do and got used regularly. Yesterday, when I clamped something I was working on into the vise and started to tighten it, the forward jaw just snapped right off! Never saw a vise do that before! Before you ask if I over-tightened it, the answer is no... no I didn't. I would have to have exceptionally powerful hands (more so than they already are that is) to snap a well made vise jaw off. I suspect the amount of force needed would likely have bent the handle... You can see from the condition in the picture that it was not abused, or beat on with hammers. Nope... Just poorly made. I bought this vise in November 2020 and it lasted 5 months. If you are looking for a small bench vise, for small jobs... Keep looking.

Made for Small Jobs Only
Good for what it is made for. Sturdy and convenient for small jobs. Great for on the go. Don't expect to use it to torque anything over 25-30 ft/lbs (although I was able torque a barrel nut to 45 in a pinch. Holds on to the table better than I would have thought (the "rubber" looking things are on the cheap side).

Got the job done
One of the tiny screws in my car's keyfob battery compartment was stripped, and I needed something to hold the keyfob while I dug in a screw extractor. This vise with the rubber grips applied held the keyfob well without breaking it, and allowed me to easily apply enough pressure to dig the screws out.

Smaller than expected, but functional.
Only taking 1 star off because the rubber grips don't fit well, especially the small disk for the lower clamp. But other than that, it works, it does what I needed it to do.

Sturdy little desk vise for jewelry, crafts, and repairs.
Very sturdy and well made for the price. I wanted a small vise with an anvil that will attach to the desk and match the colour. I also wanted one that came with rubber pads to protect the desk. The included pads are ok. I plan on replacing the pads in the jaw grips themselves as they’re not great quality, and I haven’t used them with heat yet, but they’re a start.Overall, happy with the purchase.

Fit the Bill
Used this vice attached to a portable Workmate to build a golf regripping station. Added a 4 inch paint roller tray and vice attachments to hold golf shafts steady and came up with a regripping station for about 1/3 the cost of prebuilt one. Plus the vice can be removed and used where needed for a variety of gripping needs (especially for someone with a touch of arthritis in his hands).

Sturdy for Its Size
Quite satisfied. Was as described. It is sturdy for its size. I like the little anvil pad built into it, too. Yes, it is small, but is large enough to hold my gunstock, for example. Photo I uploaded shows it beside a foot-ruler.

A good, sturdy vise with a useful swivel facility.
Ideal as a small vise for the workbench of my shed. Feels sturdy, looks good and should cope easily with the simple tasks I’m liable to use it for.No need to file down any surfaces on mine, unlike some reviews. Slip-on jaw covers protect the workpiece. Two more plastic fittings protect the bench. All I did on receipt was lightly oil the screw threads and swivel joint to help protect from corrosion in the possible slightly damp conditions of the shed.Treat this vise correctly - as manufacturer recommends - and don’t deliberately overstress it and it should prove to be an excellent, good value purchase.

Wobbly
Admittedly I wasn't able to put one of rubber pad onto the vice because my shelf bench was too thick for it but I had to readjust it several time whilst sawing because it became loose and was swiveling around. It was indeed cheap so not really as good as one you would literally screw on the bench to use. If you are going to use the vice on a regular basis perhaps paying for a better one would be a must.

Perfect for home DIY workshop.
Ideal size for small DIY jobs and the clamp will open wide enough to screw onto a 5cm worktop which was difficult to find one that would. Very versatile swivel and a strong locking arm to secure it at different angles. The small anvil on the rear is also very useful for light jobs. The rubber washers for the securing screw are and base are excellent and the covers on the jaws are a great idea to save crushing or marking items secured in the vice, but not a great fit and tend to fall off every time you open it up, hence the 4 *. But all in all very pleased and would recommend it for home use.

Great vice
Purchased this vice a few months back, after researching for several weeks. Thought i would use it before reviewing. Bought to use for silversmithing, I set it up on my kitchen worktop as that is where i work. Easy set up, good suction when fixed in position. Its a lovely little vice perfect for what i do, holds everything firmly & value for money. You cant go wrong.

Not heavy duty, but good for small jobs
Nice and simple to set up but comes with 4 plastic parts in a separate bag, with no instructions. You can see where they fit, but none of the product images or the video actually show them being used. Mine were ill-fitting and somewhat misshapen. Nevertheless I was up and running quickly and bending 3mm metal strips without too much difficulty. The clamp onto the bench slips under a lot of pressure, but whether I am supposed to have the plastic pads on, I have no idea. I had them on.
