Zitner's Dark Chocolate Covered Cocoanut Cream Egg 8 Oz

Bought this coconut cream egg for my mother. She used to get these as a child. She said is was delicious and it reminded her of her childhood.

No return policy caused me to throw away 30 dollars on two eggs that look like abused rocks. Never shop this seller.

I just expected it to arrive by Easter and thought it would be a little larger. Due to the inclement weather we are having the chocolate egg had changed to white and my hubby thought it wasn't any good. He cut into gingerly and said it tasted ok. For the price of this egg you can get the same size at the local grocery store here in PA at 8 ounces for $5.50 with good chocolate, they make their own. Peanut Butter, Coconut, and other flavors. I bought this as it appeared to be so much larger in the picture on line. Will not buy this again, did not exceed any expectations we had believed it would.

The actual food item itself is just fine in taste. However, the Zitner’s box was shipped in a paper bag. The corners of the box are damaged and the chocolate coating on the egg is dinged in a few places. Not giftable as is, in the box. What a shame. Needs to be sent in a cardboard box,

Broken and unsightly

I love these coconut cream eggs, but I won’t be ordering again. The chocolate was not fresh. I was not pleased with the look or taste. I called customer service and explained the problem. I told them that I wasn’t looking to return or expecting a refund because it was food item. Amazon refunded my money and I threw the eggs away.

It reminds me of my childhood.
