Best product really works well for me

Having tried a few gels and ointments Systane Nighttime Eye Ointment is the only one that helped me. I sleep through the night and can open my eyes in the morning without difficulty. Its a bit tricky to put in the eye - take care otherwise you tend to squeeze too much out. I will have to get the larger tube next time just so that I don't run out. But at present the small size is working well. I have severe dry eyes and suffer from blepharitis.

I'm sure this works well for a lot of people as the other reviews show. It is not for me as I think my eye is reacting to it while it is in my eye and in the day after-possibly because it traps dust etc. onto the eye. I stopped using it and my irritation resolved. I also worry that if you have an eye infection (even before symptoms occur), using this would keep bacteria trapped on the surface overnight, and I cannot risk this with my eye condition. Drops are easy to use, and are moisturing but didn't use them long enough to notice proper effects.

I use this all the time - I saw an Ophthalmologist who confirmed that I had an allergy/dry eye type problem and he suggested I try some eye drops, nothing else suited me except this product. I now get it on Prescription and the upside is that the Antihistamine tablets that I took for years are a thing of the past now and I rarely sneeze in the morning. So it hasn't been hayfever I had 24/7 for the last 10+ years but an eye problem! who'd know.

I suffer from dry eyes and have found this product to be very effective. it took me a few attempts to get used to applying it efficiently and now it's done quickly and easily. It's part of my night time routine and does a very good job of keeping me comfortable through the night. I apply Systane drops in the morning.

Difficult to buy this in local chemists, does the job and helps my gritty eyes, made worse by hay fever. recommended.
