I am giving a 5 star review for a pillow that is not great....for me. "For me" is the key words there. These pillows are very soft and comfortable and probably deserve a 5 star rating. BUT.....I read through all the reviews because I'm spending a good amount of money on these, and I am a side sleeper, so I wanted to find out if they ARE for side sleepers. I found a couple/few reviews that said they were, but listen....They are NOT! I have gotten 2 cricks in my neck, one that was excruciatingly painful, since using this pillow for one week. So, why then, am I giving it 5 stars? Because it is a great pillow that is so soft and would probably be great for stomach or back sleepers. For me, there just wasn't enough fill in it, and it's flat, so I had to fold it in half as I fell asleep. Well, of course this doesn't last throughout the night and I end up sleeping very uncomfortable and waking up stiff. I guess my next step is to somehow double up on these pillows by stealing my wife's pillow to see if that helps :)

These pillows are fantastic. I don't have anything particularly insightful to say. They are down pillows. Very soft, no feather bleed. I hug them while I sleep and feel less alone.

I'm a side sleeper. I've tried a bunch of pillows from Walmart and Amazon including buckwheat, down etc. This is my favorite pillow so far. There aren't any little feathers poking out - it's mostly down. There is no smell. They are fluffy but after a while they get flat and you have to fluff them up again. They are the perfect thickness for me as a side sleeper.

This is NOT a REAL DOWN Pillow! These are crunchy and heavy pillows. I've had several DOWN Pillows, but NEVER anything like this!! SO heavy and uncomfortable I had to reread the reviews to understand WHY I would even consider buying these pillows. --When I'd left my soft pillows at home, and needed a replacement SO Badly, I was excited to receive these. But, when I took them out of the package, I was STUNNED at the crunchy feel! Literally like a pillow with 50% Quills! That's the only comparison I can think to make. I almost felt like crying because I was so disappointed.--The reviewer whose review was May 13, 2021, the same time I got these pillows, said the same thing, so I might understand if there's been some terrible mistake (like Down from a Porcupine)

These are excellent feather pillows. Exactly like the ones I had 40 yrs ago. Well filled. Soft. True king size. The protective covers that came with them are equally soft. I sleep with them every night. If I had known they would be this good, I would have ordered a second set while they were on special! I have purchased feather pilliws before and been unhappy with them. I definitely can't say that about these! Highly recommend them.

So I ordered these pillows. I noticed the label said "Machine Wash" above the "Made in China". As an owner of feather pillows in the past I have always sent them to the dry cleaners. So with some hesitation I thought I have a large front loader washing machine why not wash one. So after an hour of washing I took it out and put in in the dryer. Huge ball of feathers!! Hours later in the dryer the feathers still aren't dry. So they are in the bathtub and I'm drying small amounts at a time in a pillow protector. Hopefully I can get them all dry. I wouldn't recommend washing feather pillows.

I wanted to added to this review after using a few days. Although these pillows are listed for back/stomach sleepers, they work for side sleepers also. Note they are flatter and not as lofty as some may like, meaning they are not packed tight, the packing inside the pillow is very loose. I sleep on my side only and found them to be perfect. They cradled my head without smothering my face and ears and I am able to scrunch up the pillow into my neck for the perfect support. I didn't get hot and uncomfortable at all so I'm going to say that these indeed do have the goose down as advertised. The cotton cover is very nice and has a zipper. I really think these are super comfortable. They are soft enough to gently cradle your head and neck and not too firm. In other words, a marshmellow type of feeling on them. You do have to fluff and scrunch them to get them the way you want, but since not overfilled this is great and easy to do. Since receiving them, I've actually slept soundly through the night for the first time in 15 years, now that's a miracle. I have fibromylagia and 3 herniated disks from an accident (one in my neck). So, all in all, I do recommend these pillows to anyone with pain. For the price I am really surprised how nice these really are. My last down pillow cost almost $300.00. If I am laying down to watch TV I just use both pillows and my heating pad, so comfortable, only issue is, way too comfortable and they are putting me to sleep!

There is nothing like real down! I love them! These fluff up very nicely. The gusset really helps achieve their full loft. They are soft and squishy and wonderful! For those complaining they are not supportive or go flat too easily, they are down pillows; that's what they do! If you are looking for a super supportive pillow that keeps your head aligned with your spine go with memory foam or the like. If you are looking for something your head sinks into and is cradled by delightful softness and comfort, buy these! Yeah it's rough letting yourself spend $100 on a pair of pillows but honestly I couldn't find any that were less expensive that were filled with more than 5% down and the rest feathers. These are truly a great value for what they are. No pokies, no rustling noises, no odor. Just soft, cozy comfort.

It doesn't have a lot of filling. Softness is great, but because the filling is so little, its like sleeping without a pillow.

These pillows are disappointing. It's not my first feather pillow. But these ones came in all compressed in a small box. I placed them in the dryer at air tumble to fluff them up. At first, they looked all fluffy, but after I started using them, they felt very hard again. It's seems that the compression process had flatten the feathers and now it just feels flat and dense. They are not horrible and may be suitable for some people, especially side sleepers. I just don't like that they are not fluffy.On the positive side, which earned it an extra star. The extra cover does a good job. I used these pillows for about 2 weeks and there is no signs of feathers pocking out.

I got these pillows to replace my old goose down pillows. These pillows are fine about the right thickness and supportive for my liking. I am a side sleeper. The covering seems fine. I have an extra pillow cover to help protect them and have not noticed any feathers poking thru.

Finally back to goose down pillows. Don’t know why we use anything else. Fluffs nice and easy. Nice even temperature

Very soft but slim, so you need to puff it up occasionally so it is not completely flat. I would like a bit more volume ( and I normally like the flattest pillows...!)
