Fresh, Spicy, Bright, & Fruity
The peppers appear to be fresh and of high quality. They’re bright red and mostly intact ~3-4” and dried. Based upon cooking in some tomato soup and eating the rehydrated pepper, the heat is as expected above average for a dried pepper and the flavor is bright and fruity. I look forward to cooking with this more. Cooking tip: cook the dried chili with wet food, blend it with cooked liquid, and add the puree back to the dish.

Hotter than most, & a surprise inside!
Bought a bag of these in 2021 (still plenty left). A couple of days ago, I was making a seriously hot salsa, so grabbed a big handful of these. The stems were removed from most of them before they were bagged. I broke them open to shake out the seeds & found almost every one of them had a little black bug inside... and a lot of them were moving! Since the bag has a metallic coating on it, I dumped the rest of them in a bowl & microwaved them for 3-4 minutes. Just a heads-up in case you see something swimming in your salsa...

Great Quality for a great price
If you are looking for a pepper with a little more heat than the traditional pepper flakes these would be the next step up. Well packaged in a resealable bag and $15 bucks for a lb ( a pound of dried peppers is a lot/large bag similar to a family size bag of potato chips) I cook them in garlic oil and put them on just about everything. Throw a few on a sandwich and WOW. You can just toss them in a grinder and they work just as well. Back to the price- I’ve purchased small some that run about $5-$9 a bag/jar. Normally about 1.5oz. This generous size bag sells for approximately $12 from the wholesaler. It’s worth the $3 extra dollars to receive them within a day or two. They are top quality unlike some cheap shit brands where the pepper are all broken in pieces.

Hot
Huge bag and pretty hot I use them in all kinds of things from chili to pickled eggs! Can grind them down to a powder as well. You get a huge bag so pretty sure for the average user it will take years to use them all up 😎
