I'm actually a little surprised at the number of fairly poor reviews of this device. Yes, the camera isn't great quality, and the brightness could be better, but it's a 50ft endoscope for less than ~$40 so I wasn't expecting super high quality.We used this to get pictures of a collapsed return duct caused by poor builder install quality. This duct was far down in the wall and impossible to see anything from the outside. Sure, the picture/video isn't great, but it's indisputable what it is showing. It was difficult to fish this thing down 30+ feet of return duct and around two 90 degree turns, but after 10 minutes of fiddling, shaking, twisting, there it was, a picture that, while a little fuzzy, clearly showing the collapsed duct with insulation blocking nearly the entire thing.

I used this camera on 1.5 inch PVC pool pipes. I had several 90 degree elbows in the line. This borescope is not rigid enough to make those turns. I attached it to a pipe snake and it worked fine. I turned the snake to get the camera to see the whole pipe. Picture through my laptop was very good. Downloaded software because my laptop could not read provided disk.

My farmhouse well which was hand-dug over a century ago recently quit working. The problem might have been caused by a number of things and the shaft bent out-of-sight about 20 feet down. When the scope arrived I read the instructions but there were a couple of problems. The mini-disc had the software, but the instructions did not explain that the app does not install like most modern software (No Wizard - Windows 10). Rather you copy it to your desktop or use that or the disc each time you run the camera. And, the printed web address was a bad link. A good link on Amazon's website would have helped a lot. After I solved that issue, I used it to see to the bottom of my well and found the problem... An old willow tree had many tiny roots that had clogged the inlet, so I added a special screen to the bottom of the pipe. The well is, ah, 'well'.

Really like this product. I inspected some hearing ducts and found what the problem was.Easy to load the program on webWorks smooth with windows.Used to find water leak in car, worked great!

It worked perfect for what I needed for.! Make sure your computer is pretty fast if not your picture might lag a little.

Don’t buy worked for about 30 seconds never even got to snake it in anything. We hooked it up to computer the lights and camera keep goin out. This is a complete waist do not buy

My only issue is the app. There needs to be a real good one for an Android tablet. I tried many and none really worked well or at all.
