It's easy to take a pinch of salt from it to sprinkle into recipes. I like the look of it on my counter top and the message on top of the container lid gives me something to think about. The container is well made and has no unusual smell. Cleans well in warm water with no damage to the container.

bought this to replace another one i purchased last year, it has a big crack in the side so the saltleaks out, so far so good for this one, just don't drop it :)

This is the SECOND one we bought from Amazon. Quite nicely crafted. Nice little item....works fine, appears to be reasonably good quality.
