This scent is close to the new car smell that cars manufacturers used to use but not the same. When compared to other car deodorizers it is less overpowering and more subtle than most. I have noticed some variance in the smell in different vehicles. I do not know if it is the puncture mechanism in the pod but there is definitely a difference in smell levels. I would recommend these as long as you understand that the smell is not going to be overpowering.

If you just bought a new car and would like to extend the new car scent this is the best product. It is subtle, not offensive nor overwhelming. I enjoy the new car smell and would like to keep it that way for a while so I searched and tried. I am glad that I tried this, it is really the best. Now if you like the strong scent, this is not for you. I love that mild new car scent. It is a bit on the pricey side because you can buy this brand at Costco for a fraction but they do not carry this particular scent. Mind you it is hard to find it and if you do it's really pricey. Amazon has the best deal. Enjoy!

It smells good but no way this is how new car smells. Not sure how they can market it so.

Has to be worst smell ever .. also discovered today most shops sell for 2 pounds , i binned them as the smelll gave me the boak .. maybe try another cent as i can still smell it now and i know its in my head haha.
