not well calibrated
The readings between those hygrometers vary significantly between each other

Reliable, can be set to celsius if you are willing to open it
Works great, can be concert to Celsius if you ordered the wrong one like me (you have to open the case and cut the pcb trace marked with a red line on my picture)

They work, maybe?
Update: bought a 2nd batch. The new ones are in Celsius, while 1st batch was Farenheight. I don't want Celsius in this case, so that's a bummer. Also, the two batches disagree about humidity levels by a significant amount, yet within a single batch the units are within 1% of each other at all times.Lowered rating to 2-stars. These are potentially good for education or something, but not good enough for real world applications.----Original Review:They seem to work. Readings are probably pretty close (+/- 1%ish). They housings are designed to be pushed into a socket in an instrument panel or dashboard, but that's not a big deal. One unit was a dud: It's stuck alternating between 26% and 31%, but reads temperature find. (Not worth returning -- the other 4 are plenty for me).My only real complaint is that if you put Velcro or tape on the back so you can stick it to something, you will cover the battery compartment door. A mall inconvenience that means you have to re-apply Velcro or tape when you change batteries.

May not be appropriate for certain applications
The 5% accuracy range may seem small but it could mean that a 10% change in RH was not displayed on the hygrometer. These are small and cheap, very cheap in fact. But if accuracy is your concern try something else.In my home, they tend to consistently under display the RH by about 5%. But when the humidity changes they don’t readily keep up with the actual humidity level. A 5% change could be represented as a 1% change on these hygrometers and that could be fine, or not based on your use case for these. Careful interpretation of readings required. After all, your dehumidifier may not be broken, it is just that your cheap hygrometer is not sensitive enough to detect the changes in the air.

ordered 4 pack, received 5 pack. they seem to be pretty accurate.
was sent one extra so thats a bonus.readings are pretty accurate and uniform among the five individual thermostats.love that the temp has a decimal point.batteries are includedim happy with my purchasegave them 4 stars because if it gets to many five stars the price will go up just like everything else on amazon and thats not fair to the others looking to purchase the thermostats.

Decent little meters, you get what you pay for
These are decent little units that seem to be reasonably accurate. Sure, they may not all read exactly the same numbers, but as the seller points out they are only accurate to +/- 5% so that's to be expected. There are a few reviews here griping about the accuracy, but in my mind you're getting 5 sensors for a little over $20, so you can't be too critical of a device at the $4 price point. If you need better accuracy, pay more. Simple as that.I will knock off one star though for having the batteries installed and operating pre-shipping. I don't understand why the seller doesn't either package the batteries separate, or use a little plastic tab as so many other devices do.
