Spiral pros and cons
I love the new version and that the spiral binding allows you to leave the book open to where you want. However, it looks like they just punched holes in the book and didn’t provide a margin for the spiral.

Larn to use yarn☺
This was worth buying, because I learned to double knit on KB's 28" loom and made a small wrap for my mother. I also made the hat on p. 84 and cowl on p. 112 using Martha Stewart's loom. But (and it's a big "but," lol) the bind off for double knit on p. 76 is fugly. I think there are typographical errors--I copied the pictures and it looked like kaka. The easiest bind off is on Y o u T u b e. Search for Heather Atkinson's baby blanket and tada! you, too, will knit a lovely afghan.

It does not cover all of the afghan looms available on the market.
This book is wonderful if you have the type of loom to which the are referring. I do not.

Fantastic but for hoop knitting.😁
Great book! I tried other books but they didn't have info for beginner's. I bought other books and they would say to do all the different stitches but not tell how to do them. I couldn't get ahead with any other book. I would have given this 5 stars, but needed more info and better instructions.

Good book for beginner
I purchased this book for my 11-year old kid to start knitting and my kid confirmed it is satisfactory. There may be some difficulty on terminology for a beginner, but it shall be easier later once one picks up with the terms. There is rich content in the book and I believe it will serve a beginner for many years.

A must have book for loom knnitters
The book talks of different types of looms, essential tools required and detailed description of yearns. The loom knitting techniques with the round as well as the rectangular looms are well explained. Round loom knitting consists of 37 pages and board knitting 10 pages. After going through 82 pages, I feel even people who have not knitted can experiment with circular or rectangular loom knitting. The 35 projects in the book have detailed instructions to follow. There are six pages of stitch patterns to add to your body of work. You need in-depth knowledge and hands on experience to come out with a book of this calibre. It serves as a reference book. A must have book for loom knitters.
