I ordered this after reading a lot of negative reviews. I thought if it doesn't suit the room it is intended then I can move it to another. I was pleasantly surprised. Whilst it does come folded in a box - it soon irons itself out - and I ordered the 200x300. It may not be as thick as other rugs - but for this money - it actually looks great. It depends what you want it for - if it's for lying on - then no it wouldn't be suitable. However, I wanted it for aesthetic reasons and it has really enhanced my living room - so job done. I think if you are having high expectations for this you have to consider the money you are spending - it is fantastic value for money for the size - looks good and is warm and soft under your feet.

This was an emergency purchase for a new house with cold wooden floors in the depths of winter lockdown. What I liked was that it was relatively inexpensive at £70 and it covered most of the floor. But it was thin - more like a rubber-backed furry blanket - and it had a shadow-pile effect which I wasn’t expecting and which looked pretty unattractive. It’d be great for a playroom but is not for us: already rolled up ready to be donated to the charity shop.

I am compelled to write this as I saw a lot of negative reviews and most of them got one fundamental thing wrong - expectation. I got it despite the negative reviews for exactly this reason and I must tell you, I am very satisfied with it. So first things first - It is not a very thick shaggy rug and honestly at this price, if you really expect that, I think you’re not thinking clearly. This is a soft, silky smooth and fairly comfortable rug to put your feet on. If you’re expecting a heavy carpet, I’d respectfully like to tell you to look to spend at least 350-500 quids. You can’t possibly expect heavy thick quality carpet at this size at 30 quids do you?I have this for only 7 days now and so far it is just perfect on the floor of my living room. Hopefully it’ll hold its strands and shape for a couple years and that’ll be a good life for it at this price.

This looks superb in the living room and is soooo soft! One draw back is its an absolute pain to hoover. Its a little thinner than the pics make out, but overall its a very nice rug and id recommend.

Good value for money At little thin but what more could you expect for the prices? durable & makes the place look super cosy!

It is not very thick but it is thick enough for the price paid, I think this is value for money. It is very soft and fluffy. The non slip looked like poor quality when I saw it in the pictures on amazon but seeing it in person there is no issues at all with the non slip, I am very happy.
