I purchased this is 2014 and still using it a decade later. I’ve recommended it to a few people including stylists and have even gifted it to others. This is an incredibly effective and durable tool and I highly recommended it.

the two pliers are great - probably the best viper style ring remover I have used. easy on the hands too. the metal crochet hook broke after 3 sets of extrensions so I went back to a threader.. no big deal.

This little kit is ok, but there is probably better. The quality seemed fine and the case that everything comes in is nice. Now that I have been using this product, I do not see a need for an opener as well as a closer. The closing tool seems to do fine at both jobs (if you squeeze against the crushed part to break the bead). In addition to that, the opening tool tends to kink your hair, so I don't care for it, and don't see a reason to keep the extra bulk. The threading tool re-opens a tad to readily, so this can be frustrating when trying to put in your extension. Otherwise, these tools seem to get the job done. I would chose something a bit different if I were to purchase again, however.
