Native Remedies 352411 PetAlive® RespoCough Protect ComboPack for Pets

I have been using this and I have to say that I am more than pleased with the results. A 6 week old feral kitten showed up on my porch with the most horrible case of respiratory issues I have ever seen in an animal. He had fever, cough, sneezing, copious amounts of thick green and bloody mucous, YUCK. Anyway, he was put on several different antibiotic treatments and lysine. The fever resolved and the mucous production did slow but the coughing and sneezing up the green and bloody stuff lingered. After months of trying all these different antibiotics I was about to succumb to the fact that I would have to forever clean this stuff off my floors and furniture when I saw these products. I thought what is fourty more dollars compared to what I have already spent in other treatments? It's alot cheaper than a bunch of vet visits and prescriptions. I followed the directions to the wire hoping for the best. After a few days I saw a difference in the kitten's energy level and thought maybe a decline in his symptoms but was not sure. After about a week or so I knew for sure I saw a difference in his symptoms. He was hardly ever coughing and only sneezing once in a while and NO MORE NASTY MUCOUS !!! After 3 weeks he is not coughing at all, sneezing occasionally but still no mucous. I have him on a maintenence dose just because. The product says you only have to keep them on it for about 5 days after symptoms are gone but I really do not want to back track again. It is a natural product so it will not hurt him to do this. I put it in his food and he doesn't even notice it like he did the antibiotics. I can not rave enough about the way it works. It is a pain in the rear for the first few days because you have to give it so much but it is way worth the trouble. I will always have it in my house.

I purchased this once before and it worked great. Since I'm involved in rescue I come across sick dogs often, so when I found myself in need of help again I ordered it once more. This time one of the bottles I was sent expiries in FOUR MONTHS. The other one doesn't expire for a year, the first one also shouldn't. I probably won't end up using it all and now I can't save it for another sick dog, it'll be bad before then. This stuff isn't exactly cheap. Please check your dates before sending them out to customers. And customers please check the date upon arrival.

I got this for my frannie(cat) she has had a persistent cough for awhile now and the vet has not been able to make her any better with antibiotics.. Frannie has been on this for a few weeks and her coughing has lessened to maybe one or two coughing fits a day instead of 15 or 20...In my opinion this respo-k works well for frannie.I also give her Vetoquinol Enisyl-F Oral Paste For Cats(L-Lysine hci) twice a day. I will be ordering this again.

I tried Respo-K and the KC defense combo pack. Administered just like the instruction said, I saw no change in my yorkie after one week. Product promises alot and delivers ZERO. Robitussin DM worked better!

My dog had a slight cough, which was only apparent at night, and no other symptoms of illness. Before taking him into the vet and having antibiotics prescribed, I wanted to give something like this a shot. This combination worked well for him! He's still a little congested but is sleeping much more soundly through the night. (Before, he was waking up often, coughing at night... It was so sad!) I anticipate him being well sooner than if I'd let his immune system heal himself but without the downsides of antibiotics.

Since it's been hard for my Veterinarian to get Rx drug approval for the (ic-hydrocod-homatrop) due to human abuse abuse of the drug, for my small dogs', so I decided to try the PetAlive Respo-K and KC-Defense ComboPack I'm happy to say that this homeopathic, works nicely, although it's very hard to dose. Have you ever tried to put tiny pills in a dog's mouth and hold it shut, while it's coughing to high heaven. Since it's a homeopathic, it can't be given wrapped in food, or top dressed onto the food. Still I've been able to get to stay in the mouth to help silence her cough, before it gets so bad that only the Rx drug will work.

My dog had kennel cough for about a week before we got the PetAlive products in. Now, a week after treating him with it as instructed, the kennel cough is gone! I read that kennel cough can stick around for several weeks, even past a month, so I was very pleased to see that this worked so effectively.

Only gets a 3 star cause I really can't say whether it helps or not. I got this because of one of my dogs seeming to have a breathing problem that I wasn't sure what was going on, and even after going to vet. I now believe it was some anxiety due to getting another dog. I did use this product, and I am sure it is a good supplement I will keep around and use if I feel I need it.
