The best part of the book is certainly the characters, My favourite character is definitely Shay but you gotta love stalla as a main character who is very kind yet brave and just very likable yet deep. Beanie is adorable and Eathan grows to be a deep character that you slowly fall is love with. Shay is just a heartwarming character that's impossible to hate. Book 2 is just as good if not better the whole series is a 5 star read for me, I wish we could get more of Stella and her friends instead of the spinoff series. My daughter could not get enough of the series. We are waiting for Book 4 to arrive today. She has been talking about when her book will arrive since we ordered it. I haven't seen her look forward to anything so eagerly. The author is meticulous in her descriptions. It was a surprise for me that my daughter enjoyed reading such long sentences, but I can see now that this is exactly what young readers need. I think this is a great book to help transition from highly illustrated books to more text-based ones for this age group.
