Ja, manchmal werden Werbeversprechen auch eingehalten. Die Klangqualität dieser Half-Speed-Masterered Doppel-LP ist einfach grandios. Über eine ordentliche Anlage abgespielt, werden plötzlich Details hörbar, die auf den CDs irgendwie "verwaschen" klingen. Selbst wenn Agnetha in die höchsten Töne einsteigt, sind diese jederzeit klar und akzentuiert vernehmbar. Nichts ist verzerrt, alles ist über das gesamte Spektrum klar und dynamisch. Und das bei einer einwandfreien Pressqualität in einem schön gemachten Gatefold. ABBAs "Voulez-Vous" in einem so tollen Sound zu hören, der kaum glauben lässt, dass die Aufnahmen 45 Jahre alt sind, lässt den geforderten Preis von knapp 40,- Euro als absolut angemessen erscheinen. Da möchte doch man ausrufen: "Alter Schwede!" :-D

This review is for the Abbey Road ‘half speed master’ 45 RPM double disc edition.Equipment used: Technics SL-1500C with AT-VM95SH cartridge, Naim amp and Ruark speakers.I was Looking forward to listening to this - from the first 5 seconds the intor skipped multiple times forcing the whole arm to jump. This was the half-speed master edition, so I was expecting perfection..come-on Abbey Road.Clearly a bad pressing so i will reorder and hope the replacement is OK......Pressing defects are happening to about 25% of my orders, and I have to play every purchase through fully so as to not find a gremlin at the end of side 2, and still be within the returns window... UPDATE: I received a replacement the next day from Amazon.This copy is superb.The Vinyl is the quietest I have ( and I have other half speed masters) even the run-out groove is only black - no online whatsoever.The actual mix is slightly compressed on some songs such as the title track ‘Voulez Vous’ as was the norm back then, but very detailed. There are some exceptions: ‘I have a dream’ is especially airy.Altogether a fantastic pressing and I absolutely recommend this 1/2 speed master. - the quiet passages are almost like CD in silence.Well done Amazon for replacing so quickly - I didn’t even have time to send the other one back before the replacement arrived!

La calidad del sonido es superlativa. Un vinilo que ha sustituido a la original en mis hábitos de escucha.
