These bulbs do not allow the interior reading and dome lights (of a 2004 Ram) to function the same as the original incandescent bulbs. They only illuminate when the door is openned (or the vehicle is remotely unlocked). If you want them to function you need to turn the dimmer switch to full on or open the glove box (the bulb in it seems to create the required resistance for them to operate).

This light works perfectly in my 2002 Durango dome light when a car door is opened. The light is bright and no flickering. But, when the dome light is activated manually the light does an intense strobing / flashing effect. Its a fast, pulsing on/off that doesn't go away. I tried reversing the bulb in the socket, and tried using the other bulb in the package, yet the pulsing/flashing/strobe effect is there. Again, it works great as a light for when the car doors are opened, and even dims after a minute once the door is closed as it is supposed to. It only flickers when the dome light is pushed to manually turn it on.

Super easy install on 2007 chevy silverado 1500 classic. Popped the plastic piece off with a trim tool pulled the old light out and pushed the new one in. No mounting issues and have been glowing strong for 4 months now. You won't be disappointed!

Did not fit my F-150 2006 interior light, it was easy to install and light was great good quality but once installed it was loose. make sure you check your light measurements before you buy ( which was a lesson learned for me)

Amazon showed as fitting 2002 Honda Accord (dome light), but blew TWO 7.5A mini FUSES when installing. Blew first fuse when popping light into prongs. Installed new fuse, installed light, WORKED, but when I slightly move the unit to make it horizontal, it blew the second fuse.It seems that the metal heatsink on the back of the units shorts something out. I don't know what because outside of the bulb prongs, everything else appears to be plastic.IMPORTANT: Use 36mm bulbs -- 31mm-33mm is too short and 41mm-43mm is too long. I found out the hard way, even though Amazon show both the 31mm and 41mm bulbs as a fit for the 2002 Honda Accord.
