Wonderful
The death of Adam's wife and baby broke his heart. He's still young, but never wants to marry again. His handsomeness and his new title as the Earl of Greyhawke make him an attractive candidate for many women, but he doesn't want any of them. He isn't interested in being part of society and going to balls to meet a woman who can give him an heir. Faith has different plans though, when he vows never to fall in love again he meets a woman who makes his heart beat faster. Katherine is the niece of a duke and many men want to marry her because of her uncle's title and her generous dowry, but she doesn't want to settle for a business match, she wants to marry a man she actually loves. It's too bad that the man she likes isn't interested in a lifelong commitment and the clock is ticking. There's another man who would love to spend his future with her and Katherine only has a short time to make a choice. Will she accept or will she wait for a man she might never have?Wedding Night With the Earl is a wonderful romantic story. Adam is a man who feels deeply. He doesn't care what people think of him, he does whatever he wants and he isn't afraid to cause a scandal. Because of what he's been through he can't be bothered with a lot of social customs. Katherine doesn't forget her etiquette, but she also has a certain spark and cheekiness. She challenges him and that's exactly what he needs. They have intelligent conversations filled with longing, unexpected feelings and confessions. Adam wants Katherine to be the best she can be, which is incredibly sweet. He follows his heart and acts on impulse. Katherine has been mollycoddled by her family all her life and Adam tries to make her do things that are out of her comfort zone, while in return she has a healing capacity. It's clear from the start that there's a connection between them, they have plenty of chemistry and there's an easy understanding. They instinctively know what the other one needs, which is something I really loved about their story.Amelia Grey writes about people who aren't perfect and I instantly fell in love with that aspect of her story. Katherine walks with a cane and Adam is afraid of feeling too much because of the pain it can cause. I loved how they become stronger people because of everything they had to endure and overcome. It makes them more aware of what life is offering and what they want for their futures. I liked the way Amelia Grey gives her characters depth. Their determination and strength is admirable and it gives the story an amazing allure.Wedding Night With the Earl is a story about the ton and the richness and splendor that comes with being part of it. Amelia Grey's descriptions of stunning dresses, interesting dinner conversations and fabulous chance meetings are vivid and entertaining to read. Adam and Katherine don't act like the rest of their social circle, they are freer in their opinions and actions and they try to live instead of just exist. I enjoyed reading their dialogue, which is fun and flirty. Their banter made me smile plenty of times. I liked everything about this lovely lighthearted story. Wedding Night With the Earl is a fabulous enchanting book.

Couple at cross purposes fall in love
Amelia Grey has written a sweet tale about a woman and a man who fall in love when they least expect it. Both the leads have experienced profound loss and loneliness and these shared emotions forge a bond between them.Adam Greyhawke has lost his wife and their child and has been living in isolation, at times soaking his misery in alcohol and walking with his faithful dog along the coast. He is therefore surprised when a royal courier arrives telling him that he is now an Earl and guardian to a young cousin. Since Adam plans to never marry again, he feels a responsibility to teach his ward about the estate and that requires him to return to London.Living in London is Katherine Wright a pert miss who has been rather coddled by her elderly aunt and uncles. Katherine lost her immediate family in a carriage accident and suffered an injured leg. She walks with a cane. Katherine has a goal to marry and have several children. There are sparks when these two meet in Katherine’s home. Adam is simply enchanted with Katherine and she forgets the rules of propriety with Adam. They are so drawn to each other that minutes feel like hours when they are in each other’s company. The author describes their feelings well, these are two people who fascinate each other. The conflict is, of course, that Adam never wants to have his heart broken again and Katherine is a risk taker. There are wonderful scenes between these leads that show how much they enjoy each other’s fine minds and there are moments where they are overcome with their need to embrace. They are not boring and even their thought process is interesting. The reader fully understands Adam’s quandary and also empathizes with Katherine’s desire to carry on the memory of her lost siblings through her future children. These leads push each other to be braver and their romance is touching and amorous.

I wish the title is more apt, as i enjoyed this story
It is always good to see the hero looking beyond the surface, in this case Ms Katherine Wright. Sweet, touching love story between Adam and Katherine. Throw in an orphaned nephew, you got the ingredients right. Full of great emotions, that is why I felt the title did not do the story justice. In any case, i enjoyed her books and look forward to more.

I recommend this book.
Satisfying final book of a satisfying series. Very well-written. Strong leads with both character and likable personalities. Smooth progression of the romance and the relationship and the sexual build-up. Good side-characters.

Ok
It was a good story. I didn't like that there seemed to be no climax to the story. Also, the passion they had for each other fizzled out before they actually came together. The love scenes were hot as long as they had clothes on and then they were not. This whole book was completely predictable.

Enjoyable read
This was my first book by this author. I loved the story of Adam, Katherine and Dixon. It had everything I enjoy in a story. Three enjoyable characters. I loved the dog too! I will now read the first 2 books and add her to my favorite authors list. Don't miss this one.

Okay read
I usually love Amelia Grey but I wasn't so crazy about Wedding Night with the Earl. A lot of what went on between the major characters didn't ring true. And the ending was rushed.

Wonderful!!
I have been looking forward to Adam's story and it did not disappoint. Could not put Down and read in a day. Adam has to overcome his fears or he will loose Katherine for ever. Would recommend. A great read in my opinion.

The best of the series
Book 3 of the " Heirs Club of Scoundrels Series " I loved the drama of this novel - a very interesting perspective of what a man would feel when he loses his wife and child in labour. I loved the characters, and the storyline with the dog Pharaoh and Dixon the five year old cousin. It must have been tough in history without all of the development we have at our fingertips today - so I am always amazed that people survived.
