Premier Kites 36 in. Box Kite - Rainbow

Very simple, easily packed, easy to fly kite. If anything is tough with a box kite vs other types, its getting it to lift off. It really is more of a two person job at least for beginners. But once it flies, it is steady, easy to do, and works great!

This simple but classic box kite is really fun to fly! It is easy to put together, and is made of quality materials. In a light wind, it flies steady and looks great in the sky. In a medium to stronger wind, it ziggs and zaggs, and is even more fun! Definitely recommended.

I only had 5min of flight time before one of the attachment connectors fell off and the kite was useless

Updated Review: 4 Stars. Amazing flyer.I had a successful day out with the kite. Strong flyer and truly beautiful to see high above. Once you get it above the boundary layer, say 75’, any lulls in the wind that let it drop have enough time to pick up again before hitting the ground. I had such a good time with it that I couldn’t stand on my previous complaint.Previous Review 1 star:You will be very disappointed if you take this kite out to a field and try to fly it without a strong and steady wind. The requirement is 8 mph minimum, according to the enclosed instructions.The kite is lovely and made of quality material, but I’m giving 1-star because the product description omits the wind requirement, I assume because they don’t want to discourage sales. The omission is misleading.

the kite came with fiberglass dowels. I think if they were wood the kite would be lighter and be able to fly in moderate winds. As it is the kite needs a somewhat strong wind in order to fly

This is a great kite. Flew high on the coast. No trouble getting it into the air.

Flys great in all winds, it likes stronger winds but will fly even in light wind.
