All three "Chef's" DVDs were purchased as gifts for a niece who is a chef living in Austin, TX. My husband and I had enjoyed the series on television, so we felt she should have the set to watch at her leisure (as little as it is). She also has two daughters who will enjoy knowing the value of the work their mother does!

Love this entire series! Vivian Howard is a very creative chef and I love to see what she will come up with next. It is nice to get to know her family, too. I am a southerner from South Carolina and it is so nice to hear a familiar dialect. Love going on field trips with her! So interesting!!!!

As a fan of all things cooking, this is a really delightful series following some mostly forgotten southern traditions blended with too notch creative cuisine.

My wife is a chef we both enjoyed the semi-documentary,Tv series and honesty that is revealed in the lives of this wonderfully entertaining couple. Great story, great food, great entertainment .

Chef Vivian Howard always puts a smile on my face. I also like to see cookery in a part of the country I have never been to and is so far away. Americans are Americans no matter how many hours of flight time separate us.

My wife and I love this show. Vivian Howard doesn't seem to be at all phony, and that is a rare quality for most people on TV. Good Luck and continued success to Vivian and Ben. They deserve it!

Great PBS Programming. Chef's Life 3 does not disappoint. Wonderful heartfelt dialogue, great recipes, true insight into the stresses of running two restaurants. Vivian and Ben are artisans and troopers. Love the episodes with Warren Brothers.
