I believe the material was 100% cotton. It was a little big so my daughter in law went ahead and washed it in hot water. No running....it did shrink a little.....so yes we did wash it.

Q: Is the 0-3m too big for a newborn?

Yes! My granddaughter was already 2 months and it was still too big
