RenogyTemperature Sensor Battery Solar 118 0.03, Compatible Adventurer/Rover Charge Controllers

Anyone extend this? My batteries are more than 10ft away. Looks like a normal 10k thermistor. Adding a few feet shouldnt change the resistance much

What's the proper method for installing this to achieve accurate readings? Does it need to be on a post?

Would this help with charging deep cell lead acid batteries in winter time? Or are they only beneficial for Li batteries?

Does this work on agm batteries? i can't figure out how it attaches to a battery.
