We tried a couple different types of cup holders for our Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Two problems with mounting a cup holder on our motorcycle are 1. no room on the handle bars and 2. Passenger cup holder interferes with operation of the saddlebags.This cup holder comes with the option to mount the operator’s on the mirror bracket rather than the handle bar. My husband had to drill out the hole on the bracket to fit our motorcycle but it was very easily done with a cordless drill equipped with a bit suitable for drilling through metal. My cup holder mounted to the grab bar on the passenger seat. Because these cup holders have collapsible baskets, they don’t interfere with opening the saddle bags. The metal frame of cup holder looks nice and is sturdy. We purchased 24 ounce Iron Flask water bottles (highly recommend) and they fit perfectly in this cup holder. These are a great value and money well spent.

I bought this for my husbands 2018 road glide and although he loved the design it didn't fit the handle bars.

Make sure to check the size of your bars will not fit anything bigger than 1 inch it says in the reviews but I overlooked it

Product is actually really nice. I didn’t like the fact that it swivels around a lot one it put on. Also I couldn’t get it to fit my handlebars. It wasn’t big enough, but that could have been my error. Overall it is a good product.

I just got back from a 3500 mile trip from AZ to Canadian border and this has held up very well. My only complaint is that on my motorcycle the cupholder has a tendency to move down after a while and interfere with steering so be very careful with this because it could get you in trouble. I am sure on a bike with a little taller bars it would be perfect.
