This bulk package was a great deal! I purchased for $46, bringing each pad to approximately $7.66 each. I've compared the price sale prices at the local craft/art store and it's a much better deal. You can always cut paper for smaller projects.I've used this brand before and prefer the texture over other brands. It's great for detail work using both watercolor and inktense pencils. The texture is also smooth enough to use ink pens to add additional detail, other brands are too rough and tend to disrupt the fluidity of your line work.

One of the small hurdles in learning how to paint with watercolors is the cost of supplies and materials. I was delighted to re-supply my watercolor paper with materials of such high quality. Great for everyday use, and the per unit cost ensures I'll 'make mistakes rapidly, and learn from them more quickly'!
