Great product with minor flaws
It’s a great product. I was hunting for something similar for quite a long time until I came across this one and I promptly ordered 2.I have fixed this at both top of the stairs as well as below and I have drilled this directly into the wall on one side and on to the iron rail on the other. Fairly easy installation, but not straightforward.As a lot of people mentioned, it is slightly warped and thus while installing I would recommend that you first fix the end where the gate locks and then holding the other end to the wall fix the holding brackets. Note that’s these won’t be in a straight line.

Other products are better
Awkward to fix and not very strong. It took my 3 year old less than a minute to break through. Very disappointing. The hinges are also not strong enough.
