a very useful reference book
I continue to use and recommend this book when training people about business correspondence. I find it is especially useful when wanting to show how the use of punctuation in business English has been reduced, despite old ways still being taught and continued in some places across the world. I wish that more business people in the UK and overseas could have a copy of this book on their shelves. The 7th edition is more than a slight change from the 6th edition (I have both copies), which is not surprising given that the main medium of business writing has changed in recent years. I find it very refreshing that the author is now based in Singapore, one of the great business hubs of the world making extensive use of English as an international language.
