Copy of Low Quality and Little Usefulness
The product is described as a "high-quality digital copy". It is not. This book and its companion volume are poor digital scans of an equally poor microfilm copy. In many places, the print not legible and instead of gray scale copies with some detail available, every one of Mr. Catesby's extraordinary pictures is a solid black silhouette! While I expected that this book would likely be a black and white copy of a book that was built around hand colored prints, I figured it would provide me a useful hard copy of the two volumes such that I could use it for general reference and for quotations from the text. I was sadly disappointed. I subsequently found several online digital copies of the two volumes that give access to legible, full color copies of every page albeit in slower fashion than a hard copy book would. Accordingly, I would not advise purchasing this book unless you are willing to live with its considerable short-comings.

Illustrations are all in black and cannot tell what they are
Was extremely disappointed, wanted the book to see the illustrations, all illustrations are solid black; cannot even tell what it is supposed to be. Totally a waste of money

A compilation of very old written observations
Its value is the age of the documents. Demonstrates the quality of scientific observations done hundreds of years ago. Spellings are of revolutionary age.
